The first three mantras are in praise of the Guru, of Sri Ramakrishna and of Sri Sarada Devi ( Holy Mother ). Sri Ramakrishna and Holy Mother are the present incarnation of this age, Sri Ramakrishna taught that all religions are paths to the same One God. "Mato Path, Tato Path ~ As many ways, so many paths." I believe a Veda is part of an epic story and this is called a Bjahan. (Pronounced BAH-Zhann.) It's Hindu holy music. Great for meditation.

The first three mantras are in praise of the Guru, of Sri Ramakrishna and of Sri Sarada Devi ( Holy Mother ). Sri Ramakrishna and Holy Mother are the present incarnation of this age, Sri Ramakrishna taught that all religions are paths to the same One God. "Mato Path, Tato Path ~ As many ways, so many paths." Yes, I think most people realize this is ancient music. It's very religious and holy to the Hindu people and those who follow that path. I find it very relaxing and holy and beautiful, though I am not a Hindu or Hare Krishna, etc. I just find it healing music.
