About the "dont disappear on me" line, i believe it was more referencing to when they were kids when Paul suddenly shoved Rudeus into a wagon and he never saw Sylphie again after that unitl now. So for her he just suddenly disappeared one day.

The real amusing thing that I think most people haven't picked up on when watching some of these reactions is that the Beast girls seem to have realized what the real problem was when he said he was cured. (Call it that animal instinct on that problem for them.)

Now that i finally watched the vídeo, Rudeus has a lot of money because Paul gave him all the money of the Fittoa Rescue Party. The party was funded by the Asuran and Millis government and when Paul disbanned it in season 1 he was left with a lot of money, which he gave to Rudeus to help bring Eris home. Im pretty sure they didn't say it in the anime but it was a lot of money. enough to buy this house.
