The first timeI saw this part, I cried soo much I cried for the past week every single night or in the day, I just kept on remembering it. Rue and Prim were too innocent to go through all of this, if Snow wouldn't made the hunger games they would have been save and not having to go into a game where you fight to survive and entertain other people. i love this so much. i love rue. she was too young to die. she was only 12. when katniss was saying that she saw her in prim it was so sad. i cried so hard when she died in the book. the film was still sad but it was sadder in the book when she sang her the song. It show you have to hold the ones you love close for as long as possible because the love can be shattered or taken away in an instant. It show that not everyone has control and that you cant always change things once the damage is done, but with only a spark of hope...you can turn things around.

When I first read the books my mum told me remember the point of the games don’t get as attached to the other tributes so it helped when rue died and I couldn’t help but think that after the hunger games rue would just be waiting for the katniss and that it was all just a game I keep having to remind myself that they actually DIE

I don't think many people realise what the concept of the Hunger Games are. Sure, first we're shocked that innocent KIDS need to kill each other for other people's entertainment but then we kind of forget. It's as we accept it. But this is actually brutal and heartbreaking and unfair and so hard to understand why no person from the capitol saw it as wrong. No child should ever go through this. Whether they are 12 or 18. Fly high Rue❤️ You changed Katniss's life.
