It's simple really, you see? People appreciate usually only to what they can relate to. A person can be intelligent, creative, talented, brilliant. But the truth is most people have no idea what those things are and so those things get overlooked. Most people can only value what their dull and unimaginative minds will comprehend. But there is an inherent value in an artist not becoming over-exploited that their art becomes a cheap reflection of itself.
