RUF CTR 2017 [CaDA C62003] REVIEW BY THE DESIGNER

I think that is a pretty objective review, even though you mentioned that as the designer, you'd be biased. You didn't shy away from showing weak spots, like the wheel rubbing, the window and the scuffed parts. And I first thought this was a fake car brand to avoid dealing with Porsche license, but RUF actually makes a car like this, that was a fun revelation.

I currently building the C62003 - congratulations, I really enjoy it. Please design more of those pretty and functional models - Excellent!!!. Maybe next time you could convince the CaDa guys to get rid of the blue pins ;-)

Wow super impressed, bought it now since it was on sale and now I can't wait until it arrives. Yellowbird is my favorite since I watched the old 911 Ruf ctr on Nürburgring. I know this is not the same car but still a good reminder for me. Looking forward to more of your collabs with cada. I love that they put up new wheels and tires to the sets, MOCS need better diversity, and 3d printing isn't as good quality as production.

Small update from my side: it's my first time dealing with Cada, and oh my, I'm obsessed with the quality, presentation and overall style. I have built 1/4 of this model so far and my jaw dropped a few times already. If you are wondering if you should buy it, don't hesitate. It's a great model, and the wheels are stunning... I will gladly wait for more of your collaboration with Cada.

Great set, I loved it!! I also tried the same fox for the steering wheel, but I found the tile wouldn't connect properly - the axle stop got in the way. I will try again. PS: Can't wait for your Mazda RX7 model - I saw it in the catalog.

Love your designs and hope more of them become sets! Correct me if im wrong but there might be a chance they produce you’re veilside rx7 into a set because I contacted them last year and they said yes. after a while there were no updates from cada so I thought they weren’t gonna make it but then I recently saw a video about it so excited for the set if it’s true!

It looks amazing, i love the design and i would buy it, but the non-lego brand experience delivery-wise makes me rethink my choice. Im not sure how the delivery works with cada, so i ll just stick with the way more widely spread and convenient, Lego.

Bought mine thru Amazon. The design work is top notch and all pieces are carbon copy Lego. Injection molding is much better than other Lego knockoffs. Instructions are as close to Lego technic clarity as can be. Very impressed, from a life long Lego snob. Will order more CADA kits for sure. Bang for the buck is top notch.

putting the rear suspension together is absolute hell. I had to eat some chocolate to calm myself and take a break, still working on getting the other side in

there are numerous parts in this build where I found myself getting frustrated. The worst was trying to assemble the rear wing/hood, and rear suspension. I really hope you know and realize how difficult it is to put some of these steps together either because of bad quality bricks by CaDa or just bad design. You can’t have bad bricks and bad design, you can have bad bricks and good design will make it work, or vice versa. The model is not sturdy whatsoever either. It’s just bad quality bricks mixed with bad design. Obviously the end result is good but I am so frustrated while building this thing.

You can’t even open the hood without the entire thing falling off because it’s held on by literally two studs that have absolutely no strength. Wtf?
