I love the Sevii Islands. Too bad the Altering Cave mechanic never got to shine. I feel like Dotted Hole could have been something more, too. Since Pokémon treats Braille as an ancient language, I wish we’d learn more about the ancient people and their lore.

I def got into the Sinjoh ruins legitimately. The Japanese HGSS had a giveaway event to get Arceus from the movie. I had a friend buy a ticket and get the code for me and was able to do the HGSS event without hacking. Worth the 13 bucks lol.

Interesting fact about Sinjoh Ruins: Choosing Giratina is the ONLY way to get a Griseous Orb in HGSS.

Why would not know the Artisan Cave? It's the only place to get Smeargle in Gen 3. Same with the other cave that have Ditto. And both happen to be exclusive to Emerald.

On weekends in anvil town you could also trade items like escape ropes for revives or 20 poke balls for a ultra ball to obtain a few items that you may not have been able to buy yet if you lacked a certain number of badges in black2 and white 2 you also could get a medal from the medal rally for seeing each different train that can apear on the turn table and when doing the entralink quests in black2 and white 2 especially the item swap ones like trading escape ropes for fresh water a decent number of npcs that are part of that quest liked to spawn there
