To be fair, I don't think event locations should be counted. If you went to the event, you aren't missing it at all. If you didn't go to the event, you literally CAN'T go to the area. If something isn't there in your file, it shouldn't be considered as there's no possibility of going there TO miss.

Sky Pillar Before Pokémon Emerald That place was soo obscure and out of the way in an unlikely place that you would probably miss it... finding it for the first time and fighting/catching Rayquaza was the best feeling! Now it's an event place that you'd eventually go to through the story and is no longer a secret, but it was really cool finding it!

Events are cool and all, but in Pokémon they're something that many people miss out on. At least I did. As an example when I played (I can't really remember if it was Black or Black 2) I went to that secret island where you "could" get Genesect. And I spent like 2 hours there wandering around trying to trigger something. And then I learn that it's an event Pokémon. It made me kinda sad. There are so many event only Pokémon Genesect, Volcanion, Victini, Shaymin, Keldeo and so on Hope one day I can experience a Pokémon event.

There was one area I recently re-discovered in HG/SS. It's embedded tower, hidden away in a corner of Johto. It's meant for catching Groudon/Kyogre, depending on which game you have. You first gotta get one of the orbs after you defeat Red (so literally as post game as you can get). If you trade for the other legendary from the other game, and bring both caught legendaries to Oak, you can get another orb to catch Rayquaza. It's a place very hidden away, not really accessible until really late game, long after you trecked through the rather long Route 47. Even then, you need to actually go to the tower AFTER you get an orb, which unless you're using the internet, is extremely unlikely. Thankfully, it's not event-based, so you can still do it, but you'll need to fully complete both SS and HG to catch Rayquaza.

The thing with the trainer house is that it was designed to copy the team of whomever you last used Mystery Gift with, copying their party at the time of Mystery Gift (excluding held items, genders, and stats) However, if you didn't use Mystery Gift with anyone, you would face off against Cal with the final evolutions of the three starters.

For Terrakion you actually need to catch Coballion and Virizion first to clear the barrier blocking to entrance to the Trial Chamber, not use Strength to move a Boulder. You have to get through victory road and then, from the league side of it, backtrack a little bit to find the Trial Chamber

My most annoying was 2 spots in Generation 2. You had cherrygrove and the bit of water behind pokemon center. And the even more annoying? The mt silver cave. Prior to fighting Red you had a waterfall on the left of the cave. You cannot swim over the ledge or get to it but its a waterfall. Theres no waterfall that does not let you scale it. So obviously youd think its somehow possible to get to but nope. Its just decoration essentially.

If you have a walk though walls cheat on while in the p2 lab in black and white (I think this works in B2/W2) and walk though the boxs on the right I think it's been a while you may come across a white room it could have been a test room or a cut room for the p2 lab. It seems to have a table and some trash cans.(It's been a long time since I was there).

I remember in my DS i was able to cheat and walk through walls in Pokemon platinum, for some odd reason i decided to walk out to the water in the specific area of where the rock of Shaymin was I walked all the way out and find the island, I was shocked because as a 11 year old boy I never stumble upon the island before after pretty much wall walking through everything and catching Cynthia Lucario like 50 times, anyway i was curious and walked all the way down where I found shaymin, yet I never heard of the Pokémon i caught it but never thought it was a legendary until a few weeks later after watching the movie on Cartoon Network.
