I have this ruffler, used it once on a cotton eyelet fabric and worked great but when i tried to use it again on a lawn fabric, the fabric wasn't going fwd and rather getting caught which made my needle break, has anybody had this happen? What am i doing wrong? thanks!

This adition is for home sewing machines, no used on industrial machines is not overlooked, it is possible that some models can be set but sewing speed should be reduced.

I know this was awhile ago, but I have this ruffler. I'm not sure how tight the orange screw needs to be to make tighter ruffles. Some have a number on it, mine does not (and matches the one that's in the video. ) (I have a Singer Fashion Mate)

Experiment a bit with the screw, it should not be difficult to solve.

Try to use fabric that does not stretch. If the cotton fabric is stretchy the result will not be good.

You probably bought the JUKI hzl machine, you must keep in mind that the foot may not be appropriate for your sewing machine.
