These people are very clean living, when they have several dogs and cats, and the carpet looks like new. I just watched a cleaning and the people were only there five months, their carpet, looked like They brought in motor parts to work on, don’t see how they could walk on that floor, ugh ! This looks very nice, good people living there and they take care of their home or rental 😊😊 Good machine, you look pretty tired, hope you got to go home and rest a bit. Wow I was surprised When you put the water out, guess dirt and dust hides real good. I’ve been talking to Rug Doctor People and they told me I could call and order the room freshener to put in the wash water. Good job with a machine and good hard worker. Thanks for the video 😃👍👍👍 Good cleaner, I think it’s worth having your own machine

I did church seating. Man, that was nothing less than black thick water. I think it was like 50 seats. It was mind-blowing how filthy those clean-looking seats made such thick black muddy water.

Now that my son has headed back to school here in the US, it's time for me to do this to my home. I have a pretty good shampooer (not as good as yours lol) - I have a Bissel ProHeat Revolution 2X Pet Pro. It does a pretty good job on the various dirts and smells that my 2 dogs, 3 cats, husband, and son manage to get in my beige carpets. Was definitely a good purchase!

This is just what the doctor ordered from my car detailing business! (pun intended). I have been using Bissell units but they are not meant for commercial use and the motor wears out easily.

Thank you for mentioning the unpleasant pet odor. I was really upset to wake up to my fresh new carpet, only to find that it smelled ten times worse then before the shampoo. I mean reeked horribly like a dozen cats are been locked in it all night. I don't even have cats! found this is fairly common, and goes away after awhile, but the whole house stunk for at least a day.

Good point. Living near the beach, I had a ton of sand in my dirty water. I also personally don't like floor gook in my kitchen sink. Would never rent this size again. Banging walls, heavy when filled, not very maneuverable,, have to walk backwards and pull (not great for old ladies or anyone with a bad back) no light of any kind, so you get shadows on sunny days. The rental place never has any of their cleaning supplies in stock. Next time I will hire someone to clean the carpets, or better yet, rip them out and buy something else..

I have one of these and use it twice a year for the whole house carpet clean. We have 3000 square feet of carpet and its hard to find a cleaner that has the capacity to do all the carpet. I use it in our cars and I do agree it can be a little bulky but it's tough.

Take it outside and switch it to tool mode. It'll pump out the left over solution without running the brush.

Interesting, I’ve seen videos of Rug Doctors being used before but never had a tour round the machine. I agree, it’s too heavy, bulky and not very manoeuvrable, I’ll stick with my Bissell Powerwash Premier (as recommended by you of course!).

How do you know if there is still water and shampoo in the machine? How do you empty to transport?
@ibaisaic3 жыл бұрын
You will see the water in the lower tank when you remove the dirty tank. The only way of removing the water is to take the whole machine outside and tip it upside down, or squeeze the shampoo trigger until all the solution has sprayed out.

Never EVER put the solution in the machine. Only hot water water… pre spray the solution diluted in water in a spray bottle on the area.. wait 15 mins and then come with the machine and clean only with hot water in the machine to extract the soap u pre applied… this is the proper way
@ibaisaic2 жыл бұрын
It’s not the way according to Rug Doctor and not the way I’ve been using carpet washers since the early 1980s. It may be the way that people you pay to come into your home to clean carpets, but I don’t want strangers in my house doing a job I can do better.

@dgphilip13 жыл бұрын
But, which machine is more robust and going to provide the longest service, I wonder?
@excelsior27083 жыл бұрын
@@dgphilip1 the big greens are actually built better than rug doctor. Rug doctor suffers from pump failures far too often, they are difficult to repair amd costly to repair. I've never had to do anything with bissell except I know one person who had to replace a pump on a commercially used machine they purchased. The pump was around 50 dollars, the pump for a rug doctor is 150. I've owned a rug doctor and got rid of it... I have a big green now and wouldnt trade it for anything. It cleans better, its quieter, has more suction and is very well built.
