That's a good highlight video finally. I'd rather see a 4 yard run where a guy makes 3 guys miss than a long TD run where everything opens up and he runs down the field untouched. Most guys pick lousy highlights. I used to make videos until i got banned for copyright strikes.

One of the greats but definitely not top five maybe top 10 remember Jim Brown, OJ Simpson, Walter Payton, Earl Campbell, Emmitt Smith, and Barry Sanders, just to name a few who definitely challenged him for top five spot. even Marshall Faulk who had really close running back stats and huge receiving numbers out of the backfield. So an all time great and a once-in-a-generation back but not top five love all time

msw51995 Stats say otherwise there is a marked decline in RB numbers after 30. In life no it’s not past prime but in football as a RB after 30 is when they start to decline. WR get a few more years and QB’s a few after that. Sure there are exceptions but on the whole it’s the nature of the NFL. It’s a brutal sport and a decade of playing it takes its toll. Far different than running track as they don’t get chased by 250+ line backers and slammed into the ground.

What makes him even more impressive he never played for a team with a dominant Quarterback so the defense stacked up to stop him and he still was able to dominate. Another interesting fact he tore his acl on season in December. Came back the following September won MVP of the league and came within 10 yards of breaking the record for rushing yards in a season

I was born and raised in Norman, Oklahoma and I saw all of his college games and the guy is 6'2 225 with power and Olympic speed and that's not an exaggeration. After a 3 hour practice at Oklahoma, still in full pads Adrian Peterson ran a 100 yard dash in 10.3 seconds. I wouldn't of believed it but I saw it in person. And even last year with the Redskins he still ran for over 1,000 yards and he's still their running back. He is literally a freak athlete.

I was going to recommend the unbreakable video myself. He came back from a damned ACL tear, lead the league in yardage at over 2000, became the league MVP, and only failed to break the single season record because we had to kick the field goal win to reach the playoffs. Plus, the guy who does those videos does an amazing job with music that won't get striked... at least at one point. He will definitely be a hall of fame player as he is fairly high on the all time stats and currently holds the yards per game record. Which could have been even higher, but his head coach was sitting him.

He's almost mythological status. Years back he tore pretty much every ligament and tendon in his knee and 4 months after he had his knee reconstructed he was at the Vikings training facility doing 5 and 1/2 foot box jumps. He tore his ACL then got back 4-5 months ahead of schedule and proceeded to rush for over 2,000 yards directly off of a torn ACL. That's absolutely BANANAS.

I went to a practice before Eric Dickerson's rookie year and me and my buddies were watching the players come out of the locker room for the practice. You could hear the players with their cleats jogging to the field, even the 180-190 lb corners. Then Dickerson comes out at '6 "3 225 lbs, and you couldn't hear his steps because of how light he was on his feet. He ran upright and you thought that he wouldn't be so effective, but he turned out to be a legend.

As a freshman in college, he was the first underclassman to finish as runner up for the Heisman trophy, but was so dominant and so clearly should have won it that he forever changed the perception of the award, and the next several were all won by underclassman. He set the NFL single game rushing record, in his rookie season, against what was at the time the best defense in the league. He rushed for over 2,000 yards (2nd all time) a year after tearing his ACL, which should have been physically impossible. He is currently 8th all time in rushing yards despite multiple injury shortened years (and missing one for for suspension), and yes he is still a starting running back at 34 years old, which is ancient for a running back, and inhuman for one who's had as many injuries as he has. Without the injuries, he would have already shattered the career rushing record.

Keep it up! Great stuff. Fast AF! Strong AF! There was a period of about half a decade where he was the best by far. He was WELL known for delivering hits on defenders by the end of games you could absolutely tell that the defense was worn out and absolutely did not want to tackle him any more. He tore his ACL and came back from it cool story I am sure that is shown in the Joseph Vincent video.

Weighed 220 lbs and ran a 4.41s 40 yard dash, which illustrates something even most avid football fans don’t understand, the difference between time-speed and football speed. Adrian Peterson’s time-speed was the same as his football speed. He didn’t lose a millisecond when he put on pads and had folks chasing and grabbing him, which is extraordinarily rare.

Adrian Peterson is currently second among active players with 13,318(149 games since 2007) yards behind Frank Gore at 14,748 yard(210 games since 2005), Adrian has come back from ACLs on each knee. Frank Gore and Adrian Peterson are both playing in the 2019 season. In 2019 Adrain has a chance to become the sixth player to pass 14000 yards, Gore could pass Barry Sanders(15,269 yards) this year, Peterson will probably pass it in 2020 barring injury. Beyond Sanders is Walter Payton(16,726 yards) and Emmit Smith(18,355 yards). At Present Frank Gore is Fourth all time, Peterson is 8th ( he could pass Jerome Bettis 13662, Ladanian Tomlinson 13684 and Curtiss Martin 14101, and Frank Gore if Gore immediately retires and Adrian gets an Average year for him)

Leg injuries and father time have slowed him down a bit but he is still a monster whenever the ball is in his hands.

You should react to the No Fly Zone (Aqib Talib, Christ Harris Jr, and Bradley Roby. With TJ ward and Darian Stewart in safety position) And/Or Legion of Boom ( Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas, Kam Chancellor, Brandon Browner, and Bryan Maxwell) Though me being a broncos fan would much rather prefer the top one

Love seeing new fans of football see AP All Day Peterson. Players at that time reinvented American football. Vick, Tomlinson, Urlicher and others changed running/stopping the run in the 2000s. No one likes being literally embarrassed and schemes changed. I mention middle linebackers bc they adapted the best. Elite interior linebackers stopped these plays. Why it's still important to stop the run!

If you like fast running backs, you might want to check out Eric Dickerson. He played for the Rams and the Colts. He’s the all time rookie rusher, if I remember correctly. With his long legs, he looks like a gazelle running...lol.

The one problem he had was fumbling. He also liked to celebrate early and that way he lost yards or the chance to score. Either way, top 5 running back of all time.

Imagine if in 2009 The Vikings still had Randy Moss. That means you'll have 3 first hall of famers in Brett Farve, Adrian Peterson and Randy Moss on the same team at once. If this was the case, They would've won the Super Bowl that year instead of the Saints.

If the damn aints hadn't cheated the Vikings would have finally had a Super Bowl ring that year (2009-2010 season) . And AP was like 11 yards from the most rushing yards in a single season. After that year the Vikings did not have the multiple threat on offense so every time AP was on the field the opposition knew he was going to get the ball. The cheating was nicknamed Bountygate its the 2009-2010 NFC Championship Game on Jan. 24, 2010.
