There’s a masters team near me (Guiseley Rangers have one) and I’m really interested in joining in a few years… currently recovering from a bad ankle injury but I’m 40 this year and would love to play that version of rugby league… I played when I was a kid, a bit in high school and a couple of 7s tournaments and touch in my early 20s but always been more into playing football and running and fitness stuff but I’ve always wanted to give masters a go since I turned 35 so I’m sure I’m gonna get round to it in next few years hoping to get my son into their junior training in a few years too - he’s only 1.5 years old at moment tho so a few years yet 😂 🏉

I agree. The NRL and SL have to shorten their seasons to cater to the international window. IMO, SL has an advantage for international fixtures because they don't have origin.

Having the WCC at the end of the season, doesn’t work because of the logistics in such a short period.
