My tears are because I feel the disrespect that he is getting despite the number of times he won, the salary cut he agreed for his teammates to get paid well and the cheating lies he had overcome. The thing I respect the most about Brady is all he cares about is winning. If the team has to run the ball the whole game, that's fine. If he has to throw for 500 yards, he can do that too. And he also is a great leader. He's just a winner.

After being a Buccaneers fan for the past 10 years, you start to forget what winning feels like. From Josh Freeman, to Mike Glennon and Jameis Winston, all showed promise, and all fell short. Being from Indianapolis it was beyond hard to like Brady at first, I was bred to hate Brady and Belichick and the Patriots because this is Peyton Manning territory and every time the Colts would make the Playoffs, Brady and them boys were there to stop us. But now that the seasons over I can truthfully say that I’m beyond happy with the signing and glad that Brady proved everyone wrong.

Henson should have stuck with pitching instead of 3b. Was throwing upper 90's in high school

There comes a time when your denigration of someone who keeps excelling, makes you look bad, not the man you are bad mouthing. For example, if I were to maintain that Michael Jordan was a so so Basket Ball player, and that he was carried by Rodman and Pippen, that would not say anything about Jordan, but would mark me as an idiot. Rob Parker has past that time long ago. Every slam he aims at Brady just makes him look dumber and dumber. And the fact that he can not see this makes him the king of fools.

I'm from Boston, and had season's tickets for every Brady season. How lucky have I been? Wow! What's really amazing is that there were no pre-season games, not to mention the pandemic! He'll be 44 years old in about 10 days, and still has that heart of a lion. Just as he had in high school at San Mateo, Ca., college at Michigan, and like he had for 20 years in N.E. Now he's taken his greatness to Tampa. I coudn't be more happy for him. I'm with you, I love the guy too! Man, would I love to see him win number eight in this new 17 game season. Tampa comes to New England this year. Can't wait to see how we respond to him. It better be a great reception. He's been nothing but classy to us. (by the way, I really wish someone would kick Rob Parker, Nick Wright, and Max Kellerman square in the nuts! That's if you can find them!)

Oh by the way, there are Brady haters because he was chosen 199 in the draft, from there on he blew all odds, got the most wins, most rings, he is a glamorous looking guy, he doesn't care to get the most money, so they can hire better players, when he goes home to a supermodel wife, and she makes even more money than him, he still looks mid 30's, he is in top shape better then when he was 20, all players respect him, all his teammates loves him, he has a too perfect life for too many people....they can't find a crack in his armor....that is why people hate him, it's so sad, but that is human nature....

The hit that Drew Bledsoe took against the MY Jets was more than just an injury. He quite literally almost died. Bledsoe had suffered a hemothorax, and his abdomen was filling with blood. And the fact that this new beginning proved to be such a fruitful endeavor, I imagine really inspires folks. Hello there sir. I am a hard-core Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan since I moved from Houston to Dallas in 1997. The Oilers went to Tennessee and I chose the Bucs and never looked back. I enjoyed a few years of success with Jon Gruden and won a superbowl in the 1st year. But endured 20 years of being close to competing in our personnel, but never having that one immeasurable thing. And that thing is Tom Brady inspires everyone...from his teammates to the front office to the fans. This team...while pretty stacked at each position...were good enough for the past few years, but our old QB kept the other teams in it from his inevitable 2-3 awful plays a game. It is so incredible to see the transformation and to know it happened less than one year is incredible. He's the king of immeasurable football and leadership attributes.

Bucs fan here: I nearly cried during that beatdown of KC but we have to admit (which you didn't focus on, understandably) the defense carried that game. 0 allowed TDs... Also the Bucs Front office is killing it lately...not sure if it's Licht that is calling the shots but whatever. Aside from WFT or Pittsburgh we have the best front 7 in the league IMO. Our secondary is suspect but it's been injured a lot. Also one of those Bucs runs you really should have given more credit to the O-line -- even with replacement players they've been playing out of their f-ing minds (So shout out to the O-line coach Joe Gilbert)... sorry I know this was focused on TB12 but as a Bucs fan I have to point out the other things that went right. That said: Scotty Miller has a sub 4.4 40 yd dash so your surprise is probably the same as the CB that had to cover him... you don't need to be tall if you can outrun your cover. He proved that in the GB game. edit: and in contrast during the SB, we (Bucs) completely smothered Tyreek. Credit to Todd Bowles (DC) there.
