Yooo Jacob I hope you see this i’ve just been wanting to tell you this about NFL. You talk about how in Rugby you drop kick the ball and place kicks Are rare well in NFL the drop kick used to be the only method of kicking because the ball was more round but when they changed the shape drop kicks became a lot harder to do so after the 1940s not one drop kick was attempted... Until QB Doug flutie in 2007, on the last play of his career shocked the world with his hidden talent and drop kicked an extra point and actually was successful. You should react to it!!! Love you dude!

Thank you so very much for this second Walter Payton video! I had the pleasure of watching him play live. His lineman use to tell stories that as he had the ball he would scream from behind them, "hit the second guy!" They understood that he would either evade or just run over the first defender who came at him. The Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award is presented annually by the National Football League (NFL) honoring a player's volunteer and charity work, as well as his excellence on the field. Prior to 1999, it was called simply the NFL Man of the Year Award. I personally told myself at 15 years old that if I could be at least 10% of the man Walter Payton was I would become a great human being. I still strive to be like him today. I've seen some great players beat the NFL records he accomplished. If he were alive today and I had to choose a player to play a game of football (with the fate of humanity and the planet at stake). Walter Payton would be my first pick.

I’ve been watching you for a little over a week now and I cannot believe how quickly your channel is growing. I know what keeps me coming back is seeing you genuine enthusiasm over learning a sport that I love. I see a lot of people feel the same way I do. It’s not about whose team is best. It’s about players, both past and present, that we want you to view because we feel that you may love them as much as we do. They don’t even have to play for our team. I’ve learned something about rugby in the process. I never gave rugby a real chance because all I’d ever heard was that American football players weren’t respected because they wear pads. I now see its two different games with a few similarities. I hope to learn more about rugby. I hope you keep up with the reactions because I love your genuine enthusiasm. PS, you daughter is adorable! Go Hawks!!!

Just want to say Jacob, I think a big reason I(and so many others) come back to watch your videos is your enthusiasm to learn about players/teams/the game of football as a whole; a game we've been watching since we were toddlers. It's refreshing to hear from a rugby player that isn't biased can relate American football to Rugby/AFL(I don't know if I need to take AFL out..). If Rugby/AFL was more accessible to Americans and on at a decent hour, I'd love to see a former player react to player highlights like this. Keep it up man, I only have one request. More college football :) College football, especially in the south, is amazing. There's nothing else like it.

Walter Payton is my ALL-TIME FAVORITE PLAYER/ATHLETE. I want to attribute that you did very well in representing and acknowledging. His GREATNESS. To me .... There is NO Greater athlete. Sure there are others who were faster, bigger, stronger but, NON greater. He is like Guko. He is the pinnacle of harnessing the most intense of will, training, talent. That clip you showed us of your cut was sick dude. We call those moves ankle breakers. You cut so hard that the defender breaks his ankle trying to keep up with you. Awesome moves. Check out Alvin Kamara, last year was his rookie season and he was offensive rookie of the year in the NFL. Then, check out the man handing him the ball and throwing it to him, Drew Brees. In one of your videos you mentioned wanting to go see a game in person. Make sure you go see a Saints game in the Superdome in New Orleans. New Orleans has arguably the loudest stadium. You sure won't see the same kind of crowd at any other stadium. You definitely won't go to a game who's city parties harder than they do in New Orleans. Just want to let you know, (as an American, and I feel lame saying that, but it's kind of necessary for this comment), that these videos are great. Usually between countries/sports there is an element of thinking one is better than the other for whatever reason, but you're watching this stuff as a genuine sports fan and it's pretty fun to see an outsider's thoughts and also to learn a little about rugby as it relates to football. FYI, you have to have two feet inbounds to establish possession (i the NFL, college is just one foot, for some reason), and yes, if the ball crosses the "plane" that is vertical to the white end zone line, you have scored a TD. You're also right in your thoughts on why they're going out of bounds at the end of runs. It isn't worth trying to cut back and taking a big hit and risking a fumble in that situation after a big run. Please check out Cam Newton, great QB/running threat! (I'm from Charlotte, NC)

first i just wanted to say i love the nfl reaction videos. great content :) i 've been kinda binge watching your videos and just wanted to answer a few questions about the game you seemed to have. i remember you said something about kent grady, i think it was...sorry if wrong name. but you said about him sending comment explaining some things so sorry if this is a repeat of things he may have addressed but anyhow.........1 thing was about scoring, if the ball crosses the plain of the endzone it is a touchdown, and with catches in the endzone, both feet have to be down in bounds for it to count.a perfect example of the catch is... Super Bowl 43 Santonio Holmes Game Winning Catch... in this video it not only demonstrates a great example but the announcers explain the rule perfectly while watching the replays during debate. i'd love to see your reaction to......Dirtiest Cheap Shots in NFL Football History (DIRTY)..... this video is good, as far as kinda calling out dirty plays that have no part in the game, with you playing rugby, i'd love to hear your opinion on some of this. btw, with this video another rule in nfl. when a qb dives feet first slide, he is down/kinda giving himself up, no defender supposed to touch him, a tackle/hit on the qb can however be made if he leads with his upper body during a dive, instead of foot slide. curious also if you've experienced anything similar in your time. whether personal or just witnessed it during a game. my suggestions for you are a very tall, athletic and fast wide receiver that retired in his prime, sorta like rb barry sanders did, btw i liked that video..great job with it. he coincidentally played for the same team as sanders did, but years later. his name is calvin johnson...or magatron. also a smaller guy that had a sixteen year career, i think it was. named steve smith. both wide recievers. both athletic as hell, but an eight inch high difference and around forty pounds. your man joseph vincent has great videos on both of their careers. i also saw your reaction to christian mccaffrey's contract and i was curious about that. i read that peyton manning made Highest single-season earnings: $35 million (2004; includes $34.5 million signing bonus), i always see the reports and think its insane but never really thought about it, i can not even fathom that amount of money for a single years salary, mind blown kinda stuff. one last thing, you have commented several times about stadium sizes, you'd probably be surprised at fan size and overall team pride/enthusiasm with college football games, especially during championship bowl seasons......in past years at least, they'[ve seemed to lose alittle bit the last few years, idk, but they still get absolutely huge, with wild fan appreciation/support of their team.on one final note, if you've actually read this and made it this far, this is on that college football note...steven had a serious years back where he came to america and traveled through every state, kinda documentary style. it was excellent. there is a part that sums up the college football here in america very well, posted by chris k. call just....American College Football.....only three minutes long, i'd definately suggest watching that bit. well, i do want to say a genuine thank you and i love this content, please keep them coming :)

sorry, i was just reading it back and the name is steven fry. i left out the fry...kinda important to that i guess

The commentator said it properly when he called Walter Payton "the most complete back in football". He could run with speed. He could run with elusiveness. He could run with power. He was a dangerous pass receiver. He was a devastating blocker, especially in pass protection. The term "five tool player", meaning a player who possesses star quality in five different elements of the game, is more commonly associated with baseball than football. However, it's appropriate in Payton's case. More accurately, Payton was a seven tool player. He could do all of the above, as well as return kicks and pass the ball. It was a privilege to watch him play.
