I swear NH supporters will always bitch about calls that go against them, even if they are correct. However, the moment a call goes in their favour when it shouldn't have (for example an England player giving a blatant shoulder tackle against SA in the 2018 match they had) then they stay quiet or make excuses.

3:50 was a valid decision by the ref, although not understood at the time. World Rugby had warned all captains that this type of tackling would receive a red card. This was a rather recent change in the law and interpretation, but the Welsh captain was well aware of the rule.

I wouldn't say any of those calls were 'shocking'. There were plausible reasons given which were all open to interpretation of the laws. (The forward pass was very forward but the referee was unsighted. He can't help that.) My observation as an NRL fan is that rugby union is the game you get when entertainment takes a back seat to tradition and the 'primacy' of the laws. Not that there's anything wrong with that, if that's what you prefer. I enjoy both games, but NRL is my preference for entertainment.

What is shocking is the attitude of the NZ wing. He should have not stop playing because the French pass was forward. It is the referee who has the whistle (and the referee was too far away to see the pass). The wing cost his team a decisive try.

So now my question is why the referee and line man is also referees why cannot they see is wrong and the score on the end is wrong no matter the country play, the tmo must get a second opinion because it look if the referees are incompotent, or the rugby union that make the rules must wake up,
