Savea was huge during this sequence of play. Gets under the highball and taps it back to Dagg, then gets in support and takes a low pass out in front then runs about 40m and shows mad skills to not go out and still get the pass away over the sideline. 🔥👌🏼43:27

I called this video up to see what Rubgy is like, and if it's as violent as I'd heard. I fast forwarded past the opening ceremonies and cued to a guy getting carted off on a stretcher.

Im a hardcore All Black fan and love this atmosphere, the Welsh fans are superb! it adds to the atmosphere, at twickenham you get the 'sweet chariots', in Australia you'll get 'waltzing matilda'....when the balmy army was here, they literally drowned the kiwi fans...it's not disrespectful, its part of rugby history and test rugby...its what drives the All Blacks to play well.....

Something a lot of Americans don't know is that Rugby and football (soccer) is based on the same game. That game separated into two separate sports over a disagreement over the rules.

i'm an all blacks fan but you have to respect wales' fighting spirit, they scored their first try and they were cheering as though they had just won the game.
@KiwiGraggle10 жыл бұрын
The first try by NZ, class, real class act on that pass from Savea right on the line. Problem with Wales now, is you had your 2 years chance to beat us, now it is back to normal. Your on the slide, NZL continue as normal because they are just quality, utter quality throughout the side.
@totsterking10 жыл бұрын
its unfair how much depth you have over in NZ
@KiwiGraggle10 жыл бұрын
Alex Totty SA and England looking great though, strength and depth wise. Whatever happened to Australia?. I mean I genuinely miss those games, those close games we use to have with Australia.
@totsterking10 жыл бұрын
***** Australia seem to be on the rise again, not quite NZ, SA level yet, but getting there. English bias here but having won the last 2 JWC I think we could be very strong in the years to come.
@KiwiGraggle10 жыл бұрын
Alex Totty Oh for sure England will be strong. I hope they are, because to me they are the consistent side in the Northern Hemisphere. Ireland & Wales are not, regardless of what the Welsh and the Irish will say, sorry but they aint. They have a few really good seasons, then fritter away again because neither side has strength or depth coming through. England do, France should be awesome but for some reason they are not, but have the ability to beat the ABs,lol. Very odd side France.
@tauirangi20209 жыл бұрын
Alex Totty hopefully the success in the JWC for England will be transparent in the years to come. The game of rugby will always change thrones, it's just a matter of a fact of how long each team will hold onto their reign. In this era, All blacks hold that spot.

I'm an American. I love how this game just keeps going and there aren't endless timeouts and downs every 10 seconds like there are in American football. I hardly know anything about Rugby... it looks like you can only throw it to someone who's behind you, but you can kick it forward to someone, is that correct or partially correct?
@Biglight1279 жыл бұрын
Haha troll.

Sorry to disappoint, but I really am an American and I don't know how to play rugby. I am choosing the comment section of this video to ask a couple questions about the game. Let me be very clear - HARDLY ANYONE in America knows the rules or has ever even watched rugby. I hope I can get some answers to questions who are being asked by me, someone who is genuinely interested in learning more and becoming less ignorant.

You can only pass backwards, but are allowed to kick forward. Only condition is everybody must be behind the kicker when it is kicked, anybody infront is deemed offside and can't interfere with the ball.

When Wales kick to the opposite half they should kick behind or to open ground not to the opposite team which gives them a chance to counter attack which usually causes problems or can result in a try
@tuttyusbuttyus Жыл бұрын
I just find it ridiculous that in this era of the game you could be yellow carded for a "deliberate" knock-on, but not for a clothesline on a player without the ball. I'm an ABs fan (suffering these days) but even during this era that should've been at least a yellow for Hore.

Does full back do a lot? And where in the back should he be?
@nepiahemopo1702 Жыл бұрын
Full back is a specialised position. Catch kicks, kicks back, joins the back line on attack, reads the game well. And being the last line in defence, must be a proficient tackler, among other things.

+oeligisgag francis dont bust your ass to get from one side of the pitch to the other. if the ball is on the right side of the pitch and your in the ruck and the backs swing it way out to the left jog to about mid pitch and set up another pod because the ball will be coming back.thats how i save a little energy. as a prop th e most important thing is to be in position and be effecive . if your busting your ass to be everywhere youll be tired and no use to anyone
@Wardads18 жыл бұрын
As a tight head prop Judo and wrestling helped me with strength and balance ,being able to focus your strength is always good . And NZ props can catch -pass with the best backs ,makes you more useful and dangerous ,learn to off-load in tackles too .

Keep up or shut up haters cause the All Blacks, Spring Boks & Australia play a much better style of footy then you guys up there. What

@zeus-qv5ym9 жыл бұрын
basically u field a side of 15 men 8 forwards and 7 backs. u can only pass the ball backwards but u can kick the ball forward. if the ball goes forward off u its a scrum down to the opposition. in which the ball I supposed to b fed straight in the middle channel of the scrum ( but it never is) leaving it to be contested by the 2 hookers. if the ball goes into touch then a lineout can be called, the numbers in the lineout is up the team whose lineout it is and can vary from 3 man to full 15 ma as seen in this vid. wen tackling the player with the ball u must release the ball if ur off ur feet at the ruck. if u kick the ball to the opposition u must let them get back to their feet b4 tackling them. if a player kicks the ball all other players who chase it down must b behind the initial kicker or their called offside. if u enter the ruck at the side u will b penalised. a penalty is worth 3 points and the team who gave away the pen. can only start the charge down once the player has started moving to kick the ball . a drop goal is also worth 3 points and the ball must touch the ground (dropped on the ground) b4 being kicked. a try is worth points with the conversion being an extra 2. if a side is within scoring range and a rolling maul or a scrum 5 is brought down, if the ref thinks it was a definite scoring opportunity then he may award a penalty try which is still 5 points but the conversion is directly under the posts. 2 lots of 40mins halves and a 10 minute break for the half. I cud go into scrums rules but they get complicated and even ex pro rugby players who were greats in their day cant get over the farce that scrums are. although I am willing to go through rules if u like me to. any thing I haven't touched upon?

Wales are a pretty good team, but they do have a hell of a lot of flaws, about two ago they were dominating the Northern Hemisphere. I do not like Wales as a team, they are too emotional and when they are losing they become a very dirty and bitter side, but you cannot deny, they are a good team. Southern Hemisphere rugby is very different to Northern Hemisphere. There is a lot more interest in the South for the sport. Secondly, Wales is bloody tiny! They have a very small amount of talent to draw on compared to most teams. For the size of their country mixed with the level of interest in the sport, they punch well above their weight.
