I have the Mark II slab side Ruger. Really wanted this Mark IV, but I have disassembled and reassembled my Mark II so much it didn't really make sense to by this version which is essentially the same thing. It is a fine target pistol though and I consider it right up there with my S&W model 41. Thanks for the nice video.

I have the MK lV Hunter, love the grips on the competition.

I just couldn't get over that big thumb rest. It made it too hard to get to the mag release. But otherwise the grip felt great.

Is it worth it for the price?.. I think the pricing is like $700.

I borrowed that gun from a friend, but honestly if the pricing is at what you just said, I would say no. It's a good gun, but not a $700 gun.

Take a look at the Smith and Wesson Victory. Great plinker at a great price. Or some of the slightly cheaper versions of the Mark 4 Ruger.
