Man that is beautiful. I'm a sucker for the Ruger Minis because of The A-Team. Did you convert it to take AK mags? That 30rnder doesn't look like a Pro-Mag. And how much did that pristine Federal Ordnance UF set you back?

No unfortunately it's a promag. The pristine FO UF was a gift about 15 years ago from an old father in law. I finally got it where I wanted it to be. We rarely get to touch any of our personal projects.

When you chopped the barrel down did you have to change the gas system or open up the gas port any for reliability? How difficult would it be to sbr a regular mini 14 to make it look like a ac556, would you have to modify the gas port

We didn't have to modify the gas port on this mini-30. The mini 14 we did. If you send me an e-mail I can send you pics of the mini-14. Or you can wait till Monday when we post the video.

Yes the firing pin was out of spec, it's fixed now.
