LOVE my takedown carbine. I agree with the trigger being SUPER sweet on the reset. The changeable magwell design is great, the weight handles recoil VERY well. Ruger IMHO hit this one out of the park... again!!

Just ran it again with a compensator and sling,...HUGE difference. My mind is blown this gun is so accurate. Even slapping the trigger, with a red dot it goes where you want it to. The sling and comp combo removed about 90% of recoil from previous trials without. Once i focused on trigger pull and reset i was turning small holes into big holes.

Got mine 2 days ago and shot it yesterday. A few adjustments on the red dot and it was spot on without a brace. Either muzzle break or compensator is next as without a brace, Re acquiring my target took longer than i prefer. Thats on me though, its been a while since i shot and its a new platform for me. I'll tighten up with practice. Swapped the mag well and it ran Glock flawlessly. Great video my guy, you told no lies!

Bro i just put a Jawbone extended magazine release on mine, Excellent upgrade. Put an extended charging handle on the right side and put the factory handle on the left side. Chose a Hogue grip. A Sig folding brace. A shake awake green dot. An aftermarket muzzle brake/flash hider. Single point spade shape QD ring. My Franklin Armory binary trigger is being delivered today. Awesome review P! I love mine. I have 5 PCC's but I think my Charger is my favorite!

Oh and a magwell funnel as well, which also is nice for the left pinky. I put my index finger in front of the hand stop the same as you.

Enjoyed watching your video. Thanks for sharing. I recently bought a "used" Ruger PC Charger > in original box > looks brand new. I was told the previous / original owner traded in in for something else when he got scared if he added a stock it might be illegal & the ATF would storm his home. Well, whatever.... I saved a few hundred dollars and an VERY happy with it. I'm not planning on adding a stock or brace anyway > just a sling. Again, thanks for sharing, God bless you.

Just buy the maxim brace it's exempt from the brace ban its not cheap but it's bad ass, here's the thing it's pretty much a sig mpx or scorpion but better, it has a takedown and takes glock mags and many others plus it's about $800 cheaper, even with the maxim brace ($350) it's a better gun

Nice pistol until you showed the brace. Now it is no longer a pistol according to ATF. It's a short barrel rifle and has to be registered.

a little weight in a gun like this isnt a bad thing, the weight makes it easier to shoot. not to mention, Ruger makes tanks, but they make RELIABLE tanks. they overbuild the shit out of their guns so they don't break. i'd much rather have a heavy gun that shoots every time than a light paperweight.

Did you form 1 your brace or are you getting rid of it? Or are you ignoring the new ATF rule interpretation? I filed a form 1 and SBR’d all my braced guns but I know many people are ignoring the whole thing. June 1 they all become felons unless the courts issue an injunction on the rule.

It’s absurd and infuriating that they allow what everyone understands was a “loophole” for 10 years and then suddenly change their minds after millions of the damn things have been sold. I’d much prefer a stock to a brace on my pistols anyway so I’m not overly pissed about getting a “free” tax stamp, but I am still irritated they felt the need to screw with it after so long and make unknowing people felons. Surely there are huge numbers of people that don’t even know this is happening and suddenly they will be criminals overnight. Pure Idiocy.
