I know it's a "cheaper" alternative but I love the Ruger PC charger. I can't wait to customize mine and get a brace on it. Sadly everyone is doing that right now and shipping is super delayed
@chrisyoung5564 жыл бұрын
The PC Charger is definitely worth it. Especially vs MP5 and Scorpion prices. The Glock mag well feature was a smart move by Ruger. There are great companies making custom parts. Obviously Volquartsen for triggers, but for everything else you can check out Midwest Industries, Taccom, and Tandemkross. Thanks for commenting.

Its sorta different tho. I wanted a backpacking gun. Scorpion or mp5 isnt exacty the same. Dont sweat it being cheaper. Just make it nice buying stuff like this. Its its own thing. Enjoy!!!

I bought three of the 34 round Amend2 mags and they have FTF all the way through. They were only $30 or so for all 3. They are terrible magazines. I don't even use them for the range. From round 1 to round 34 they either nose dive the round under the feed ramp or they release the round too soon and the round ends up sideways between the breech face and barrel. Of course the Glock mags never have a problem.

Great video. I wanted to put a better trigger in my Ruger but I didn't want to mess around with a bunch of springs and tiny parts. This is easy

It's not a complicated trigger group. It's a trigger, a hammer and 1 spring. Literally that's it.

The only way I would by an after market trigger for the PC Charger is if it had a toggle trigger like the Glock. Other than that, the stock trigger is good enough to keep.

Thank you for the video. I have a Stribog gen 2 and am always looking. What’s your opinion on the build quality of the firearm? I know the barrel is CHF which is awesome. How is the extractor ? Any issues ? Would you buy it again ? Thanks in advance Christmas is around the corner !

Love the gun, Ruger has amazing customer service to handle any issues. No issues as of today. I also have 2 models of the pc carbine. I am a huge fan of this gun.

I have investigated this trigger but $258. seems a bit high for a trigger group! I just got the ENTIRE trigger assembly direct from RUGER for $39. ($39.!!) so I would have a spare to work on for a slightly lighter trigger pull. As-is it tested at 3 lbs. 14 oz. AVARAGE of 5 pulls. I'm sure I can get it to almost 3 pounds with sear polishing and high tech lube.

@timrobinson65732 жыл бұрын
it's a 34 round Amend2 mag. They are terrible, constant malfunctions. I have 3 of them and can't even use them at the range. I also have the 33 round OEM Glock mags and they run perfectly.
