You’re a really good shooter! What I have done in the past when I had issues with a firearm I returned it to the manufacturer and got it fixed.. Sig P322 and a Ruger SR22 both had problems! I guess I have been lucky over the years.. Thanks!

Thanks, sir. I could send the RXM but it’s an easy fix and I think it will be resolved faster if I replace the slide stop myself. I have a P322 - it’s not a bad pistol. I hate the plastic sights though.

Every state is different. In Florida we can sell the guns directly to other Florida residents with a bill of sale. I always sell it to folks who have a CCW and typically use the local-ish gun forum.

Im curious to see how many people completely upgrade it. I’m not sure who makes the best Glock clone but it’s a good question.

It seems that Ruger optimized the slide release for the Magpul magazine. Considering the manufacturing partner, that isn’t a surprise. So, some of them are having issues with factory Glock mags because of some slight differences with the Magpul dimensions. If it becomes a big enough complaint, Ruger may adapt, but they may also just live with it since Magpul will be happier with increased mag sales. I have seen some use Glock springs to solve the issue since they are stronger. I wonder if they avoided using the ambi slide release for fear of the Gen 5 patent being infringed.

There are so many people that haven’t had magazine issues that’s it tough to believe they expected magazine issues. I still think the slide stop is hitting the FCI and causing issues from time to time.

@@averagemarksman I wouldn’t say that they expected them as much as optimized for the Magpul mags. They probably tested with Glock mags but I doubt as extensively. There is a pretty good video of someone showing how the Glock mags catch in a way the Magpuls don’t. If there aren’t enough people having issues, there probably won’t be a fix.

We always go up the hill and shoot the defensive ammo into the cardboard. It’s where we zero all of the rifles.

So basically Ruger stamped out a Glock slide, and Sig fire control group and threw a Magpul lower 80. I’m not exactly sure what Ruger did in this pistol creation.
