SR...mine runs anything I put in it . Bulk pack , CCI , whatever . 1000’s of rds through it . Keep it clean , I have no complaints

The compact felt better in mine...I like both but the S&W M&P Compact .22LR has a one finger better hold and the sights are outstanding...You have to really scrunch your fingers up on the Ruger...Just sayin!!!

I put a Tandem Cross guide rod and spring in my SR22 it runs so much better. I have full size M&P22. It’s a great Gun.

I was about to buy the S&W mp22 compact however I went to a private Small Arms Dealer who works on handguns and he told me don't get one. He seen more repairs from brand new ones including the EZ Shield 2.0 besides the 22 compact. He told me that you're better off getting a Ruger. My only problem is the Ruger doesn't look as good as the mp22 compact but I'm going to follow his advice. I talked to several other people and they had different opinions and about the M&P Compact 22. I decided to get the M&P compact 22. I love it and I haven't had any problems yet. One thing I've been told is just keep it lubed.

i had the sr22 loved it but not the safty its backwords to all other guns could not get used to it y ruger did thst i not good

According to the Ruger Website it is Red Titanium but it just looks like Red to me.

I’ve had a few failures to feed with my M&P 22 compact. I think my finger rode the slide. Either that or it was dirty 🤷🏼‍♂️

Thanks for answering me and so quickly. I went to loo for it in Amazon but the one that might fit the M&P22 doesn't have those divisions to place the fingers that I like. Users have answered that the 5166 model does not fit the M&P22 Compact. Thanks anyway and take care

Ruger SR 22 is a better gun I have never had a malfunction with mine but I only shoot cci the mp is better than the walthers p22 though my p22 slde cracked

the first day owning a p22, the barrel broke and flew out of the gun about 7ft after a shot. Only shot ~70 rounds.

SR-22 is overrated. Just bought one talo edition. Only put like 50 rounds or so and had three malfunctions . Not buying the whole over 1,000 rounds no hiccups.
