Hi there, I’m Dennis and I’m a very proud owner of a new .44mag Ruger Super Red Hawk Hunter edition 7 1/2” barrel. I just bought it last month from collecting Bass Pro Shop gift cards over the years from family and friends. As a big gift From my wife this Christmas, she gave me a plain gift card and said I can pay for the remaining balance with cash. My gun cost me a whopping $1,019! I have shot over a 150 rounds already and I love it. I really enjoy hearing the different reviews by other owners. Your review was great. Thank you

I have an Uncle Mike's Shoulder Rig for mine ,it works . This is a very accurate pistol with 2 powe Leopold scope and 44 specials off the bench. It's a ton of fun!

I recently purchased a Ruger Super Redhawk 44 with the 7 1/2 inch barrel. It was the Aimpoint 10th Anniversary Edition (1990 I believe) and was numbered 0101. It still has the Aimpoint red dot scope which works. The hammer and trigger have a jeweled effect on them. I have no idea how many were made but I bought it from the original owner. He had 35 or 40 Rugers of various calibers and types and just decided to sell them all. He had no idea how many rounds he had shot through it but my local gunsmith said very few based on his inspection. It is fun to shoot although at 76 years of age I only shoot maybe 12 rounds per session. I have not tried 44 special through it but I am sure the recoil would be very, very mild given the weight of the gun and the longer barrel. With my hands I cannot imagine shooting 44 Magnum though a 2.25 inch barrel.

awesome revolver man and the quality and mass of the ruger is unmatched. yeah I know Smith guys and Taurus guys think theirs is the best. but the massive build of ruger kicks butt. I love my super redhawk 9.5 inch. I will never get rid of it. also love my sp101 357.

Don't get me wrong, I love smiths and Rossi/Taurus. They are fantastic guns and great shooters. However, nothing beats the awesome overbuilt ruger tanks. If I had to choose only one handgun or hell, even one gun in general to take with me on a trip in the Utah backcountry it would be either a ruger 44 or 41. Both are more than capable of taking down any North American game, the size is very manageable, and you don't have to worry about having a fragile range toy.

The Super Redhawk is an great revolver. I have one with a 9 1/2 barrel, I bought it new in 1988 for $450.00 I see they are close to $1000.00 now.

Great looking pistol in a fine caliber. Stainless is always a good choice. Double action is the way to go.

Shot my uncle's Super Redhawk years ago. Very comfortable and exceptionally easy to shoot well, just like the Blackhawk. My only issue was a bit of lag in operation from the spacing of the controls with my smaller hands, than something like the M29 or 686. But those problems can be overcome with practice. Some day I'd like to get one.

Old video , new comment. I own this gun have it resting in a Diamond D chest holster . It is my woods pistol . If you have ever seen a real Bigfoot you'll own one too. I saw a Bigfoot , it scared the water out of me . I always thought it was a story. A lot of people who live on our mountain have stories about them. What scared me the most is at first it came toward me ,then thought about it and took another step , then it just stood there looking at me then it took off and ran away . It was deciding what it was going to do . Thinking. That's where the fear came in. I keep 305 hardcasts in it when on the mountain now. They don't look like T.V. they are evil looking things. No wonder people freak out seeing them . Demonic looking and real. Love my Rugers I have all kinds of guns now .

I might be wrong but Lipsy's only sells guns, nothing to do with production runs promised by manufacturers. Again I might be wrong

+Joe G Distributors will go in with manufacturers an distribute a special run of firearm. So if you see a firearm for sale and it says Lipsyes or Talo Exclusive. Talo is Davidsons Distributors. lipsys orders them. Ruger makes them. Lipsyes should have stopped ordering at 2000. But they didn't. I probably sucked at explaining that. 😊
