More and more companies are moving the serialized part of the can from the side to the blast baffle area which would mean a bullet would have to damn near make a right angled turn the second it leaves muzzle and luckily for us that's still impossible... Question: at 7.51 you speak about accuracy retention between pistols and rifles. That it's easier to adjust on a pistol, as you pull it forward and make the adjustment to walk it back into zero. When on a rifle (mp5) it's not as easy to make the adjustment because the booster is removed. My question is, why can't I leave the pistol booster on when it's a direct thread to a pcc like an MP5 or scorpion, etc? Thanks for the response.

Rugged Suppressors are awesome and the company is some good folk. I've had the Obsidian 9 for a while now and it's solid. Also have their Razor 7.62 and Radiant 7.62 and an Oculus on the way. @laskalives3 жыл бұрын
He's preventing the slide from reciprocating. When the action of the pistol unlocks, there is noise and gas that follows the ejected round. By keeping the action closed with his thumb, he is forcing all of the gas through the can, theoretically making it quieter. Think bolt action rifle vs semi auto.

I've been running the CAM-LOK on an Obsidian 45 since Griffin released the system. I've swapped it around three guns (DW 1911, LTT 92, 226) and its been fantastic. I'm somewhere in the 3500+ round count with it and I haven't had any issues.
@trunkmonkey563 жыл бұрын
Also running Camlok since it's release on an obsidian 45 and it's the mounting system I've always wanted for handgun cans. I switch same range day between a 1911 45acp and 9mm M&P. I have at least 3k rounds on the Camlok. My 9mm muzzle device does need to have the can tightened harder than my 45 mount. I once launched the can down range because my 9mm mount needs that. Probably just slightly out of spec somewhere, but now that I know thousands of rounds later it's not a problem for me. Just dinged up paint on the can. They are really tough. 1 sec the can is off and you can holster the gun. Vice versa. Highly recommend

Yes, the camera audio will not truly capture the sound as it would be if we, the viewers, were there in person. But let us just listen. Also, many of your videos that I've seen are all over the place. It's because a lot of times you have such a long, worded script for your vids.
