Babareshi is the name of a village, forest area, tourist and religious place in Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is named after the Sufi saint Baba Payam uddin Reshi.
It is located a few kilometres from Tangmarg and near the hill station Gulmarg.[
These Shrines were abodes of people to cure their internal illness . Baba Reshi belonged to a rich family and were minister during Zain Ul Abideen Badshah sultanant. historians write that Baba Payam ud din reshi {Ra} 's life changed when he saw an ant carryinmg some food and he thought that himself being a human is not worried about his life hereafter. Then he became Disciple of Baba Shukur ud din Reshi who himself were disciple of Nund Reshi {ra}.

Thanks a lot MUNEER BETA for holy DEEDAR of 7 DAAN built by the great Saint. I missed the opportunity of paying my respects to this holy place during my young age. I remember having been told that a renowned journalist, a Parsi, editor of the weekly journal namely BLITZ, used to come every year to this ZEEYARAT. He had a communist leaning. I have visited his disciples ZEEYARAT on a hill top in BARAMULLA. I don't recollect the name of that Saint. Once again thanks.

I was posted in Kashmir. You make a grave error. The architecture is not Iranian or Mughal but typical Kashmiri. If you note some Hindu Shiva temples in Kashmir and even in other regions you will note a similar architecture. Iran though very far from Kashmir is the brother Aryan civilization of India which includes Aryan Kashmir. However, there is politics from abroad to make every thing Kashmiri as Iranian. Take saffron this is indigenous to Kashmir and is referred in Kashmir by the local name as Kong. The Kashmiri variety is surely the best and distinct in the planet. Also Santoor is from Kashmir; I spoke to the genuine expert the genius Pandit Bhajan Sopori. Tumbaknare is also Kashmiri and is an Aryan name. In fact in Rigvedic Sanskrit and in other Aryan languages Tumbak is a drum. In Armenia an Aryan land Tumbak is also a drum. So please research things in depth before picking up false planted data from abroad. The history of Kashmir is simple. All genuine Kashmiris are converts from Aryan Central Asian Hindus to Semitic Islam. Thus Pandits and Muslims of the Valley are the same people except for religion. The word Rishi is also an Aryan (Indo-European) word and not Semitic.
