I know people are nervous with all the flooding, but almost everything we love is still running in the village! They totally rely on our tourist money to keep things running so I know they’ll be happy to welcome y’all 🍻

Appreciate it- that’s all my older bro Matthew, he’s a tequila man all the way! Thanks for the feedback, trying something new is bound to make opinions one way or the other, I’m still learning style and technique!

All 3 of my children went to high school at the "Tacoma School of the Arts" in Tacoma and the Dale Chihuly Museum of Glass hosted one of the classes of that high school. I daily saw his art when driving on Highway 7 as there is a bridge across it in downtown Tacoma with his art on over the bridge (it's a pedestrian bridge) with his artwork enclosed in glass while you cross the highway and railroad. I've been in that museum several times. And yes, a lot of businesses and hospitals in the PNW display his artwork as well.

It’s wild how global his art is- I’ve also seen a huge chandelier teardrop in San Antonio at a hotel on the river walk- the museum in Seattle is very nice! I have a video on that- but I really need to check out that bridge and museums in Tacoma soon, thanks for mentioning those 🏔️🤩

It definitely has a special place in our hearts- my brother and sister are Ruidoso Warriors and that was our home for many years. Now we still have family up there but it is our favorite vacation spot in NM!

@@adventuresena64 you asked why some houses survive its construction methods adobe houses with metal roods survive more because less areas to catch fire on

@dertasdert2419 wow that’s interesting- incredible how ancient technology actually stands up better to nature! I did notice I think most of the surviving homes surrounding by fire signs did have metal roofs

The main risk through early October is that it is monsoon season. Because of burn scars, certain areas can flood for a few hours at a time, but emergency alerts do a good job of getting you info early! I’d say if you pay attention to weather alerts you can do everything you’d usually do in Ruidoso right now and be safe!

Thanks for the feedback- I'm actually still learning, a self-taught amateur. This is my first attempt at more documentary-style editing, and really my first time adding ambient sound that isn't music. I'll try to keep improving, appreciate you taking the time to watch!

I really appreciate that- I was definitely going for "overly dramatic" there and it doesn't always work- other feedback has helped me to work on balancing audio better so I do appreciate it, and I'm always grateful you took the time to watch and comment. Please, keep it coming if you have feedback on any other vids!
