This is my favorite Ruike knife. I've got both the P155-W and the P155-B. It's such a beautiful design.

Very happy to see this review, I saw this knife on one of the Chinese sellers site and was really liking the looks of it.

I really love the persian blade on this knife and have been EDC'g this guy for more than a month. It feels really good in the hand, including reverse grip (blade out). Due to the curve not practical for reaper grip grip (blade in). After a few weeks it developed a slightly annoying rattle, fairly certain it's not the secondary lock mechanism. Great opening action and would recommend, especially for the price.

I disagree! lol I love the bead blast on the Ruike Knives. I think it's a more modern, sleek look than most satins which just look unfinished to me. The P155 is certainly a great modern take on an old classic style. It's very difficult to find a quality Persian without getting out of my price range, so I really dig having this one. Those curves! And that factory edge?! I think I'll have a go at radiusing the G10 corners, not much there to work with. I also find the choil is a little small and am going to round off that corner a little too. If it turns out decent I'll share on FB. lol

Great review K.C. we use our knives as tools and not as weapons because honestly how often are civilians in situations where they need to use it as a weapon. Thats very personal to get that close. J.S. thanks kevin for a another great review. Have a blessed day!

Great knife & great review! I wholeheartedly agree on its practicality of use and also wish it wasn't beadblasted. Like a few others, i did sand down the sharp corners of the grip with my WorkSharp, for my own personal comfort. Aside from that, no complaints and couldn't ask for a better edge - really love it

Kevin. If someone is interested in using a knife for a weapon there not who you want to attract. Maybe for self defense! Anyway I saw the knife I have and like the most is the freek but you don't hear much about but your a lot like myself which is why I like your reviews! I'm definitely a fan of bigger knives!

The statistical question would be: How many knives are used as weapons? Getting that percentage would be fun, considering I alone use many knives a day, and the most murderous one is usually a regular cooking knife on a weekly basis. Any of my chefs knives are way more dangerous than any of my folders.

How do you disassemble the see through pivot and rear backspacer? Is a special tool needed?

Ruike has some nice designs , and the 14c28n is a good budget steel , I own a few models but the bead blast drives me nuts . Is a bead blast cheaper to do than a stone wash or satin ? Anyone know ?
@Sherrodja5 жыл бұрын
Nothing wrong with bead blast finish on 14c28n due to it being very corrosion resistant. Really good steel. And that's a great knife..gotta order the black model

I like bead blast myself, so hope they do not stop using it, then again I like most all finishes so a wash for me.

ZT should follow Real Steel and Ruikes lead on those see through pivots and just stamp a hex bit right into the top of the hole , you can't even see it and you don't have to BUY a special tool. Or maybe that's what ZT wants ??

Now you need Ruike to give us 10% off like Smokey Mtn :) It's bigger than what I normally carry but I like it . I also like full back spacers since i carry change and my wallet in the same pocket .

I think this knife would be a great Skinner/hunting knife.

I agree on the weapon thing. I do appreciate the looks of a tactical style knife, but I have never needed to use a knife as a weapon, and God willing, I hope I never do. Although I may like the looks of it, it still has to function as a edc type user, or it does me no good. I buy and carry a knife as a tool..not as a weapon. And btw..I am not a fan of bead blast either. Much rather it be a satin finish.

If only it had standoffs instead of a solid backspacer... Still, amazing knife for the money. Going to be the next addition to the collection :D
