Chapter 6: Roxy Raceway Part 1. We're here with Roxy and all of her world-sized hitbox, and using Gregory's manufactured voice to lure her so we can get ...almost run over by a Go Kart? Sheesh! No hidden camera in this world, so it's just collectibles and Wet Floor Bots (aka Caution Bots). I also go through some Q&A at the end of this chapter, so I hope you enjoy that, as well.

With how valuable he was to the team, it wouldn’t be unreasonable to think they’d want him back again lol. And about the Chica voice box, that’s purely an easter egg; it affects nothing for the rest of the game.

Every time I see this chapter played, I can’t help but notice that Roxy is able to walk through the AR wall (during the part where you open the AR-only camera station).

Could the Blob in Ruin be acting as an errand runner for to setup the events of this DLC? I.E. putting key items in places to be found by the player?

Idk there’s a ton of KZbinrs like backseat, astralspiff, etc who can just break the game naturally like it was their purpose in life to find every way to break a game

Thanks! It was a tough ~3.5 months finding and reporting 2200+ bugs during the nights after working full-time at my normal job, as well as training successfully enough to win 8 gold medals at the World Joggling Championships. 😎 For real, I'm super tired.

i think the atmosphere, horror, jumpscares, characters, plot, voicelines, settings are all really good in ruin, but the gameplay once again disappoints me more than ever in this chapter. luring roxy away feels like a tutorial, it's way too easy and there's no chance of being in danger unless go right to her, the only change between the two sections is that you need to use the mask in the other one, but it makes no difference since you can complete it even before MXES would spawn. when Steel Wool talked about the gameplay being based on timing and patience i was expecting someting more similar to animatronics having set paths and having to stealth your way through areas without being seen, something similar to security breach's gameplay but this time working as intended; instead the animatronics are incredibly easy to avoid and one thing i don't understand is them walking to you after MXES spawns them instead of running,ruined monty's lack of being a threat in the first and third chapter could be solved simply by having him run to you like shattered monty. what do you think DJ Sterf? do you agree that this style of gameplay was made too easy? if yes what would your suggestion be to make it better? i don't know how much your word can influence the devs, but i'm sure they value your opinion on the matter

Yeah, none of the animatronics actually run in this game besides Freddy, since that chase is his whole mechanic (and then after that, Freddy can’t run anymore). They also just have a hard time noticing you in the first place and actually aggro’ing onto you. Then the other problem is a lack of animatronic encounters in general. You go through the majority of the map without an active animatronic threat besides MXES. Rarely do they ever naturally “patrol” around locations. It’s mostly always scripted movement, or scripted encounters via cutscenes. Animatronic AI was nerfed pretty bad compared to base game.

@@namesmitt i don't actually mind some scripted movement but there's too much of it here; i like the freddy chase, the problem is that that chase as well is too easy, you can easily outrun him even if you let the stamina deplete completely. i think some concepts like the chases and monty's water area can be really good if only the animatronic were faster and more reactive. i think the animatronics hardly aggro'ing you when spawned by MXES or the few cases where they are around was the intention, but i really can't understand how they though it was a good idea. but they improved in a lot of ways since security breach, so i'm hopefull they'll notice the gameplay is not that good and make it better the next time
