This is my personal theory. I think the Puppet's "I don't hate you, but you need to get out of my way" line isn't to Afton. I think they're talking to the Vengeful Spirit, because Charlie just wants to put the spirits to rest. The spirit, however, just wants to keep everyone here forever to torment William. Withered Bonnie's "is it you trapped here or is it me? Perhaps it is us both" line makes me think this even more.

36:28 Fan Idea: Scraptrap's only line being "I Always Come Back" may, instead, be ironic. Afton's one quirk is that each and every time eternal punishment knocked at his door, he'd turn it away. So when Afton is now in a position where it's caught up, or where he's even begging for damnation, having his montra spat back at him by the final decrepit form he took prior to his end would be mocking Afton; he believed he'd always be back no matter what, yet here he is, in a game rigged against him where the action he feared most constantly occurs: dying. Over and over again. Like idk, Afton fears death and consequences, here he's getting both forever.

That'd be a sound theory... But supposedly, Lefty (The animatronic character) is male. And yet the voice is female, and it sounds like it's a voice struggling to speak as if it was out of breath. Not to mention... The line "There's room for one more" seems to imply this is Lefty AFTER he contained the Puppet, so it'd be reasonable to imagine this is Charlie speaking. (But even that i can't be sure of, since Scott made the weird decision to get a different person to voice Lefty despite them sounding so similar to Charlie's voice, so it's definitely up for debate.)

Ok... I gave it some thought and... Maybe it IS Lefty speaking, but he can only speak through Charlie's voice..? It'd not be surprising if capturing the Puppet is the reason why he's so damaged, so he wouldn't have a functioning voice box and had to rely on Charlie to speak. Or maybe it's the inverse, Charlie, being trapped within Lefty can only speak through his voice box (though that still wouldn't make much sense since the animatronic is supposed to be male and would have a female voice, but oh well, it's best to not overthink it)

I think Orville as the lead of the mostly informal and half-southern Mediocre melodies kind of makes sense. I imagine it's the same thought process fazbear entertainment (and Scott for that matter) had when designing foxy. They both work as a foil to the main group of animatronics and have a unique gimmick that sets them apart from their contemporaries. I imagine in this case Orville is sort of the "eccentric ringleader" who's gathered all of the Mediocre melodies into one band, regardless of how well they do or don't mesh with his personality

My theory on the Mediocer Melodies is that...those are simply Cassidys favrite Animatronics. A bit of fun lore fore her as we know nothing about her, Cassidy loves the Mediocer Melodies and prefers them over the acual Freddy Krew. It's so weird that the high school years' lines feel like they have to line up with william's killings, but their order is seemingly random with random characters attached, a few killings that are really out there (did he tell a kid that his house was on fire? and the kid thought they could help with that!?), and even the killings that do line up a bit (one that sounds like susie, charlie, and midnight motorist) only line up about halfway. Honestly, every third thing in fnaf feels like trying to solve a puzzle after half the pieces were left in the rain and the other half were thrown into a volcano.

But if we take it at face value then it’s exactly what Mustard Man does. He goes to his house (his own and the runaway’s). Runaway doesn’t open the door so Mustard Man goes around to the window. the way your voice sounds when you get excited about liking a character's lines was really sweet, and this video was so good. there are some interpretations i disagree with- i think nightmare and nightmarionne's breathing are cool, and lend to a feeling like they are hungry predators who just got a kill and can't wait to dig in, breathing heavier as they nearly salivate at the idea of ripping into fresh meat. on the whole though this video was incredible, definitely an instant sub! keep up the good work!

Honestly I think it’s mostly just that, assuming Charlie’s around in some way in UCN, she’s only controlling the puppet and Lefty’s (nightmarionne too though he’s a different case) just a recreation of how she was in Pizza sim. I do agree she might’ve grown resentful, but the puppet voice doesn’t seem to be. Elizabeth’s is potentially in a similar boat with how different Baby is from Scrap.

I think the Nightmare Freddy line "I have always been hiding in your shadow" is a reference to how monstrous William is as a person. He created the nightmare animatronics to be monsters, to instill fear and perhaps even agony in the person they are being sent towards by wielding their personal fears against them through the use of illusion disks or fear gas or whatever else. Nightmare Freddy was created to be a monster, a perfect boogeyman meant to terrorize a child, but no matter how perfect a monster Afton created him to be, he can never be as much of a monster as William already is. It also gives the image in my mind of a normal looking guy with a shadow that takes the form of a monster, like definitely normal, non-murderous William Afton hiding his murderous intent and dark ideals behind the visage of normality. No matter how normal and friendly William portrays himself to be to the outside world, underneath he is a cold-blooded child murderer who designs robots to terrorize and murder more children, and they will never let him forget it.

Nightmare Freddy is the central demon that (possibly) plagues their dying dreams and so, representing both the Crying Child and the pain they endured, he draws attention to their fate as but one small portion of the long shadow of sin that Afton has behind him. He was never thought about twice (hence "hiding"), but that didn't make what he did go away.

I never got the confusion with Cassidy’s gender: 1. Cassidy being female in the novel trilogy doesn’t matter since it’s clear that in alternate universes characters can be drastically different as Cassidy was also the Bonnie kid in that universe. 2. The girl in the logbook is definitely entirely symbolic. Why do people think that the drawing HAS to the real world accurate depiction of Cassidy? It’s a strange hill to die on. 3. The only game that explicitly features Cassidy calls him by male pronouns and Cassidy’s appearance is literally revealed to be a blonde haired boy. So why do people try to to refute that, when all other sources of Cassidy’s are ambiguous in canonicity in comparison.

I don’t necessarily disagree, but I don’t think voice alone is good enough to identity Cassidy’s gender. Especially cause it’s said to be an adult women (Charlie’s voice didn’t seem to age in UCN so we can’t assume Cassidy’s did). I’m also just personally very iffy on it being Cassidy, I kinda assumed it was Dave by virtue of Cassidy usually being considered the aggressive one.

Nightmare Freddy, in this case a non-existent, metaphorical representation of the horrible things Afton has done, hides in his shadow, waiting to pounce and give him what he deserves. In short, karma. This also lines up with his behaviour in FNAF 4. Freddy waits behind you on your bed, and you have to constantly look over your shoulder to stop him. If you don't, he strikes you from the shadows right into your back, like karma.

It's always a privilege to be a part of a Channel and Creator's blow up. tuv and Pastra's in 2021-2022 and TheBones5's this year and now I get to do it all over again with you! Happy 5K, Candi! 🥳UCN is my favorite game LOOORRRE wise because it's William Afton's extended torture by his own Creations annnd when Cassidy eventually Rests, his Pain will get 1000x worse because UCN may be awful but it's not The Darkest Pit of Hell. My own headcanon is that Hell has The Devil laughing while letting Nightmare devour and regurgitate him in the most painful ways for the rest of Eternity. One of his Voicelines straight up says it's how he ends William in UCN. I think his and Nightmare Fredbear have the most painful ways of taking him out because Fredbear was the 2nd animatronic ruined forever by Afton after Springbonnie and Nightmare is literally The Grim Reaper in FNAF 4. They're up there with Cassidy with Berserker Rage that needs to be dealt with. William is TERRIFIED of Death in all of its forms and there's no way he'd go gently into the good night. William would be full on Dr. Facilier. There's an excellent animation of Springtrap being dragged to UCN/TDofH by TheHottestDog with Facilier's voicelines and it's PERFECT. The animatronics are his Friends from the Other Side and like Facilier, William thought that he had everything under control, including them but The FNAF 6 Fire was the blood amulet shattering and his Friends quickly and happily becoming his Enemies because they were waiting so long for him to mess up in a way that he couldn't recover from, even with Remnant and Agony in play. He had NOWHERE TO RUN anymore and they finally got him! It's 1 to 1! Anyway, you have excellent timing because it's about to be second Dinnertime for me and afterwards, I'm gonna do my full self care routine.

So probably been suggested before, but about nightmarrione. You mention how you dislike the voice because it sounds nothing like the puppet. But we've discussed already that the voice coming out of the puppet is Charlie, as the puppet is a male animatronic. So maybe nightmarrione, who isn't actually real to begin with, has a voice based on what the actual voice of the puppet is? So in this case male (albeit deeper because of it being a nightmare animatronic) because that's what the puppet is.

While it is offputting at first that Nightmarrione's voice is very off from thr Puppet's, I find it very fitting since it seems Nightmarrione is their own canon entity that's almost FnaF's embodiment of the grim reaper or "death", which would also fit with them being a replacement for Nightmare in the halloween update which has a very strange, paranormal, almost ethereal vibe

Even if we were about to say that she knew about them from the memories of the crying chid (Dave), that would mean that both Michael and Dave went through the nightmare experiments of FNAF 4. That could be the reason Dave is afraid of the animatronics but it doesn't make sense for him to be put through the experiments or the punishement that is FNAF 4 with no motive for William, that would imply that he was experimenting on fear long before MCI or any other killings that we know of. (Sorry for the bad English)

Well there is also that drawing of Nightmare Fredbear from Mike in the security logbook, so no matter who went through it, they’d know of him. For all we know, Mike could’ve told Cassidy about them while the two were in the log via mind/dream stuff like in the movie (might also be where they learned about the purple phone thing and the party being for Dave).
