Those are my two biggest complaints, I don’t like that they have removed peoples accounts for inactivity or that Microsoft removes your ability to play online for something that happened outside of their servers. I hope this helps you understand where I am coming from.

@@channelmachinebroke9638 I can definitely understand why that bothers some people, I think the player reporting thing is sort of bogus, since most servers have done their own moderation for the entire games lifespan, and commands like /ban are accessible by the host even in a vanilla server and have been for a long time now. I would agree that it's kind of a more invasive and threatening feature for sure. I also didn't really know or hear anything about them removing people's account access if they didn't migrate, so I don't have too much to say about that. I do know that we had a really long heads up that this whole migration thing was going on so even if you didn't play for a good while I would imagine that most people who planned to play Minecraft again would have heard about it and had time to migrate. It is kind of annoying we had to do that in the first place but in my personal opinion I guess it isn't so bad, especially since I already had a Microsoft account at the time and I think a lot of other people would've had one too. I'm still not sure if I would say Microsoft is "controlling" of your copy of the game, since these mostly have to do with your account, and even then in practice it *shouldn't* be so bad. I mean I know some servers small and large have all tried to implement some sort of feature to disable the player reporting addition by making it so that they chat can't be verified or something like that. Plus I would imagine that since so many people are against the idea and because most servers do their moderation anyways that it's a largely unused feature outside of small cases. It would be kind of cool if they decided to step back on that feature though lol

@@nevermind5657 im damn sure the server was dead. I have a screenshot with "5000 seconds since last tick". It was impossible to join the server once you left, no blocks were updating, and only the chat worked properly. the creative mode was dead for DAYS after i crashed it.

The amount of data probably comes from the fact that most people format their raw JSON text in a weird way. For example, Generators use "extra" for every single time a new color is used, so the end of one line is like 10 "extra" components deep, and people that have almost no knowledge of how to write in that language leave the first component's string empty, and are unable to just set the default color in the first component, which would enable them to omit it in all following components, except when they explicitly need another color. And translate is never used, even when it would benefit the repetitive text, since in these cases it would save letters.

Pirating games is fine IMO, especially for many countries where it's simply not feasible to buy the game outright Game studios need to make the games more accessible, and adjusting the price to the surrounding economy is the best way to do it

True. 20$ May be relatively cheap in USA, but in Russia its like 2 full days worth of work on average job.(30k rubles/month), and most people here get even less than that. While in usa people as I heard get on average 4-6$ per hour.(400-600 rubles, 1$ = ~100 rubles, rates are always changing heavily). Piracy is always caused by greed of the game studios

I don't think you understand how it works, "adjusting the price" is losing money, if they sell something for 50 dollars, the price will remain the equivalent of your country's currency. They're not going to make your access easier if it means losing money.
