Seems believable enough. IP address is useless, because it's a network proxy. I don't think a log-less VPN node halfway across the world is going to be of much use to anyone. Chat logs from a burner account talking about Minecraft are also useless, and so is VOIP data. IntelBroker's hardware IDs are spoofed, 100%. So that's useless, too. A burner Yahoo e-mail is not worth even looking at. And Discord won't get a log of other applications, because it's likely running in a separate qube, completely isolated from the rest of the system, and accessing Internet through a secure network tunnel. You know, the entire point of qubesOS, which is basically like 40 virtual machines in a trench coat, trying to operate as a single system. Discord can't take anything that isn't already exposed to every application in your system. qubesOS is designed specifically to protect against this - a single attack vector compromising your entire machine.

It can run Minecraft in a Windows VM. There's info out there to do it, but specifically my buddy was able to get gpu passthrough to play CS:GO at medium-lower settings. If you don't know what you're doing then it's a headache to even attempt it but still possible. Issue though is if you're wanted by every country's glowies, then they may be targeting attacks at you and doing gpu passthrough lowers the security of your Qubes install by giving VMs more access to hardware it otherwise doesn't want to touch. 😂

VPN's open you up to having a VPN server out there that feds can subpoena for your logs. And finding out what VPN you use is literally a google search away of the public IP address that it uses.

13:06 well obviously making stashes is pointless if the accounts associated are burned. if you make all the stashes on the same few accounts that joined recently, and then go crazy on those same accounts a day later they can just look at logs on those accounts and rollback the stashes. this is why the servers will never truly be affected unless you inflate the economy long term and launder it intelligently.

Self proclaimed professional duper here. I have duped of many servers and Ill tell you the real reason why none of Duper Zman or anyone do long term duping stash type operations. This is because servers are ahead of this game. The kind of servers they dupe on always have anti duping code which flags stashes. It does not matter which or how many accounts they use. Custom server items like keys or tools get almost instantly detected in some cases. Vanilla items are safer but even they have risk that when a player tries to have an abnormal number, lets say more than a stack of netherite, it will flag to the mods or trigger an auto ban. Stashes also get detected by using similar method where servers scan for abnormal amount of certain items. Most kids hear duping and imagine 2b2t style getting rich and flexing to other players their wealth created with duping. But that does not happen on most servers. Only small servers with like 20 players allow that kind of thing to happen.

It can narrow your location down to a continent or maybe country depending on how niche you go and accent, but nothing too crazy. If it was really such an issue then he would've been caught ages ago lol
