The show is an absolute scam based on unreliable, subjective data. There's a reason polygraphs still aren't admissible in court and I'd bet money the 'examiner' will find whatever the producers want them to find. I'm also sure they do a basic investigation into the contestants to find dirt. Why else would they ask if a person ever hired a hitman if they didn't already know the answer? I doubt you'd ever hear a 'bombshell' answer declared false but they'll use something ambiguous that they think the contestant believed to bail them out at any moment. A lot of game shows have plants and microphones during group auditions to get information. Anyone who they don't think they have the upper hand on is likely crossed off before they even make it inside. If you're ever on a show I'd suggest using this to your advantage.

I'm pretty sure the question was simply in reference to her own opinion of herself, I don't think it was intended to be an actual external judgement of her character. And the lie detector supposedly takes her inner judgement as the 'true' answer (big emphasis on 'supposedly').

Lie detection is a well known pseudoscience. The show can give any answer they want. No, you don’t understand how this works. @sbonelli8 ай бұрын
It doesn’t matter what the results of the lie detector says, what matters is that she knew going in what the questions would be. Which means she knew what she would have to answer/risk to get the money. Also, she knew that she would have to answer honestly in both situations because if she lied on the show the answer would be wrong and she’d lose. So either she has to lie on the lie detector and at the show or she has to tell the truth on the lie detector so than when she answers truthfully on show it matches. Either way she KNOWS what questions are going to be asked so whyyyyyyy do it?!???!? She knew these questions would destroy her husband but she doesn’t want him anyway so 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️. When you know that gameshow contestants have to pay taxes on their winnings AND get bumped into a higher tax bracket for the year during which they won (thus forcing them to get taxed MORE on the income from their regular everyday job for that year), it makes things so much sadder. Lottery winnings and legal settlements also follow these rules (and if the money is from a settlement then they get taxed for the WHOLE amount from BEFORE a certain percentage gets taken out to pay their lawyer). If they're smart then they know they can expect to see less than 55% of the actual amount that they won (if they set aside the proper amount for taxes). But most people don't think about/know about gameshow/lottery/settlement taxation so they think the full amount that they won is just theirs to keep with no strings attached. That's why so many gameshow and lottery winners actually end up broke/in debt/bankrupt right after winning. 😢 It just isn't worth it.

@@Gh0st_0723 yes, I did. Actually that first night I did 3 times. And the very FIRST REASON I let him stay that night and never made him leave is because it was the first time in my life i had actual, good stufffffff. He was only 24 and I was 31…in my prime. He was wrapped around my little finger that first night. I was dumbfounded to learn the pleasure of what it was like to not be with tiny Tim. My ex didn’t just have issues with his height, he had issues with other things that didn’t measure up but, I was a teenager when I met him so I had no way of comparing. My gorgeous, 6’2, dark haired, dark eyed 215lb new boyfriend was more than I had ever even dared to daydream about when I was stuck with tiny Tim. When a man is able to pick you up and pin you to a wall, life is just better. Had I met him the night after I moved out, he’d have still come home with me. Sorry, not sorry. And then when my ex found out I was seeing him, he came to the hospital where I worked to cry because he was afraid of confronting me with a real man there to defend me, and I laughed at him. Literally laughed in shorty’s face. I’m not hard to find because I don’t hide behind fake screen names on social media. So go find tiny Tim and ask him yourself lol. 💯 true story. Almost 30 years later, and I’d make the same decision again, and again, and again. Especially if I knew then what I know now. Actually I’m sure you and tiny Tim would have plenty to discuss…like how it’s hard to keep a woman when you’re tiny Tim. as far as horrible decisions. my ex was my most horrible decision in life....but getting my degree that he paid for allowed me to leave lol. i have 3 sons who are higher educated and financially successful. one of which just graduated from UT with honors and started out life as a 23yr old making almost 100k per year. when i had my youngest, i quit work because i could. and i hiked, kayaked, fished, and used to run around the Smokies with my kids watching bears. you will never, ever stand on as many mountaintops as my kids did before they were even teenagers and see as many beautiful sunrises as they've seen. then i became successful at wildlife and landscape photography with tens of thousands of followers on social media long before it was "cool." i was a football mom, a baseball mom, and a basketball mom. my kids call me every single day except my youngest who sometimes skips a day because he has this beautiful girl he's seeing now and they're busy doing young people things. get back to me when people tell you they want to be you like people tell me with every single post. i'm writing a book.. maybe grab it a copy when it comes out and just really relish in all my bad decisions. they'll only be in the first chapter which includes my ex so you won't have to read very far. and btw, my husband isn't just a good man, he's THE MAN.. and the best dad in the world. yet he will tell you to your face without using a fake profile on social media that he's the one who got lucky.
