Thesaurus writes well but he doesn’t keep the same magic he had with his freestyle era. He doesn’t mix up his cadence with any humour or resting moments. He tries to deliver each bar in a lin aggressive way. Thus creating no dynamic range.

john dohhe whenever Saurus doesn’t over-compensate, he’s real good. His Rone & Daylyt battles he uses his quirks to his advantage and is less aggressive and more energetic. But yeah his over-the-top aggression is one of the two things holding him back.

100%. Loved watching him for his freestyles back in the day, and his pen in the earlier written days, but his syllabic writing is so exact that it actually impedes him. It's technically amazing, but the cadence is always the same, except for the odd battle like vs. Daylyt where he breaks it up a bit. And considering how much he's battled over the years, it's understandably hard to stay fresh. Dude's a goat, though, without question.

I love Thesaurus but when he transitioned to writtens he lost that natural swagger and humorous flow he had with his freestyling. His writtens have this constant aggressive cadence to it. He'd be even more effective if he introduced more slower pauses and dropping into more natural humour and then flicking back to aggression. That way it creates a wider dynamic range and the aggression hits harder.
