@@senialweife i think its because she realized what she did, and that best to do is to let him go now. sometimes it is better to let go. i once did not wanted to, no, i wasnt holding anyone, i was spending ton of money into someone who never liked me back. finally, i foun myself broke, lost house, bike, car. and that person just left me without even flinching. but it was good at least for something. i grew close and reunited with my familly and learned a lesson that life is not a fairy tale and one have to use brain in it.

It is sad, the "man" possessing her is actively trying to murder everyone while she decides to help senpai escape

Well, Saiko is not a Psychopath. Psychopathy is not a disease, it is a condition of a person. It can't be cured. The psychopath is from birth and it is not crazy. In saiko's case, her mental illness is diciosative personality disorder. She is two persons in one. But i think that there is more that it seems at first view... Some things in her diary and in Yangire mode sugests that, in fact, she is possessed by some kind of evil spirit related to the rabbit doll. I wish a good ending for her, but it is very unlikely. It seems that she is dead in the future nightmare mode and turns in a ghost. Sadly, this kind of histories never have a happy ending...

Sirdrak Sorry, I don’t have any idea what the lore of the game is about. I just happen to watch it here and enjoyed it, but nonetheless, I wish a good ending for Senpai and Saiko. I believe that there will always be a way to save Saiko, even with DID or any mental issues, a person like her can still be saved. The human mind is the most complex machine in the universe, that is why it is very hard to understand, and beneath it’s covers lies an answer that is yet to be uncovered. As much as evil mostly controls the game, there will always be an equivalent of goodness that must balance it, and that goodness is the good ending we are looking forward to.

just a happy face Yeah, unfortunately we will arrive on the topic of whether she should be given mercy or not on what she did. I choose not to argue on that this time because it is such a sensitive topic when it comes to ethics, like whether to give someone mercy for killing someone because they have a mental health condition, but then again, killing someone is hard for us humans to accept because it is such a big deal, with or without mental health condition. It is up to your ethics on whether Saiko will be given mercy or not on what she did.

Plus, the nightmare can be fueled by Akira's guilt and regret over what happened to Saiko, what she tried to do to him and the monster she became. Regardless, if she's dead or alive.

I wish there was an ending where Akira confesses why he broke uo with her, before breaking down in tears about how sorry he is. Saying that he never wanted to hurt her and that he was scared and didn't know what to do. Saiko then becomes devastated over what she has become and how much it hurt Akira in the long run. Looking at her reflection in the knife and only sees her deranged self. Horrified and wracked with guilt, Saiko throws the knife away and hugs Akira while apologizing for everything and begs him to help her because she don't want to be a monster. Then it ends with a scene showing Saiko in a psychiatric hospital receiving a letter from Akira hoping she'll get well soon before smiling with tears of joy.

You're not wrong. But you have to remember that Saiko only became like this because of isolation, trauma, neglect, isolation, loneliness and bullying both at home and in school. Her loving father was thrown the nut-house for compulsory treatment after brutally killing a man in his house right in front of her for reasons unknown. Her stepmother neglected her and treated her as a maid. She had a friend but she never saw her again after her transfer. Shinji bullied her for stalking Akira and called her a "deviant" until he decided to publicly humiliate her in front of whole school by stealing her diary and slapping the drawings of Akira on the walls causing Akira to shun her. All in all, Saiko was a ticking time bomb ready to explode at any minute. And Shinji set it off. If really want to get Saiko off his friend's back, the logical solution would've been to tell a teacher or the principle. But instead he took matters into his own hands, first. Thanks to his blunder, Saiko became a monster, she killed him, and now his friend has to suffer. Besides, Akira never wanted this to happen. He may have been the one to Shinji about Saiko's behavior, but he didn't know what do. He was annoyed by Saiko's clingy behavior and also afraid of her mental issues. So he panicked. He followed Shinji's advice and broke up with her. It left her confused. She didn't understand why he did it. And how could she? Because of her parental problems, she had a naive and misunderstood belief in love because she wasn't given enough of it growing up. Not to mention it made her develop DID. She loved Akira because he was the only person to ever give her kindness in a long time. A little kindness can go a long way. Point is that I'm not trying to justify her actions and she does need to answer for what she did. But Shinji's actions had consequences. Plus all of those things above she suffered from are just some of the many reasons that can or could motivate school shooters. It's not always just for kicks. Sometimes, it's about revenge against the bullies and the people who didn't lift a finger to help. That's why good people need to intervene when bullying happens before it's too late. Be a doer not a viewer. And if a student is suffering from a mental disorder, get them help and don't ever bully them.

If ur too lazy to get all the pages for diary and wanna get best ending, just be good with Saiko - at the start dont escape, just stay in the room and wait for her, then dont look at her when she is in Yandere state (She has 2 personas [Or idk how to call it, English isnt my main language] - Yandere and Yangire, when her eyes r purple and text color is purple too it means she is in Yandere state and ur safe, if its red u better start running) unless she talks to u (talking about telling u the code or if she stole ur key), if she starts holding her head and going to Yangire state headpat her to calm her down, im not sure what are the reasons but u cant do it 2 times in a row or she will kick u and make u play rock paper scissors, u lose - u die, u win - she lets u run away. On stairs when she is in Yandere state she likes to push u from behind, but dont worry, u wont lose hp, but ull get slowed down what i hate cuz i play this game totally from (not) original website so i cant run so i kinda run like i crouch without that effect, and the effect makes it even worse, and also in Yandere mode she likes to have a ride on ur neck from behind and then either let u go either drag u to closest room and lock u there, if its classroom then turn on light and check the code, or just kick door 2 times, no more, and then wait until she opens, or just wait, cuz she opens after some time and kicking skips some time, 3rd kick may skip ur life tho... But if she is in Yangire state u will play hide and seek where she cheats cuz she looks where u hide. Also grabbing keys she didnt give u makes her more angry, opening locked classroom also makes her more angry, if u wait until she says: "Do you want a locked door key, Senpai?" Or smthn like that then play rock paper scissors with her, losing does nothing unless she is angry on u but still in Yandere state, then she will hit u with knife like 2-3 times, and go back to Yandere state, if u win she will troll u by not letting u get the key but if u try a lot and importantly DONT STEAL IT ull get it and then u should remember from where the key was and go there, and if during that time she takes ur key (dont resist it makes her angry) just walk to the door and stand at it while she will keep coming back to u so u can take the key and instantly open the door, after that she will also lock u inside, then u check the code and just repeat this. Also she can ask u if u want to hear a code, u should go to her and look on her or she will say "I guess not" and dont tell u the code, she trolled me a lot about she forgot the code, then she told me the code but the code was wrong, then i found 2 numbers and after trolling me again a lot she told me the real code, stole the exit key, i brought her to exit and got best ending (easy difficulty, first try, no running)
