Yes, you can. Rules 16 and 18 apply to you here. You must avoid crossing ahead of the stand-on vessel only in a crossing situation which applies only to two PDV. Since one of the vessels in your situation is a Sailing Vessel, it is not a crossing situation as per the Rules, so you can cross ahead as long as the action is early and substantial, and does not result in another close-quarters situation.
