It is facts but pastor Jennings himself would agree as well and explain that their are many under the congregation battling past sins.the key thing he would say is he preaches what is needed to preach to convert those individuals through God.

I understand his point. But my first husband was an unbeliever. And he nearly killed me. I divorced him after much prayer. I don't dont believe God validates every marriage anyway. I believe it depends on faith and knowledge. Neither one of my parents were Christians when they got married and it ended in divorce. Would God validate a marriage between two unbelievers? Would God validate a older man marrying a young girl? My dad was 27 and she was 15?

Total endoctrination of the audience! espoused means to be married not engaged . espoused is an archaic word that has evolved in the English language but over time. . This is why the holy Ghost said take Joseph your husband because they were married . Engagement is maybe we will or maybe we won't there was no doubt between Mary and Joseph. The word engage is never used in meaning of the word espouse it's not the same meaning.
