They are often used interchangeably. Not a major difference between them but you will notice rule of strict liability in law of Tort and Doctrine of strict liability in criminal cases. I also tried to find more fine difference, but I could not. I hope this will be helpful for you.

@@radhikadey1 yes, but also consider the law because it if it is tort law then give examples of cases related to tort law & if it is criminal law then give examples accordingly, and your answer will be correct
