Rulers For HSTs - Wonder Cut, Clearly Slotted Trimmer, Essential Triangle Tool, Bloc-Loc??

I love Bonnie Hunter's ruler. It works very well, especially when you are making lots of half square triangles t out of two fabrics and your quilt is not scrappy. If quilt is scrappy, I usually do not use use jelly roll but instead cut 21/2" strips( or whatever suze) out of my scrap stuff so I get a real mix of different one light, one dark. This ruler helps me to be totally accurate. That notched piece at top is the best! Helps when sewing.

I have all of those except the Wonder Cut. I love the slotted trimmers, but my absolute favorite is paper sheets. I like Thangles but the sheets work best. I have the Triangulations as well and like that. I think these are the most accurate for me.

I love your KZbins. I just got back from the Grocery Store when you started your KZbin, so it was a Stress reliever. I only have the Clearly Slotted Trimmer, and use it for almost every quilt. (Got mine from MSQC) Oh, yes, I haven’t sprayed mine but will do it know. I’ve sprayed my others, must have had a Senior moment. From Avon Park, Fl. A transplant from Geneseo, IL.

Aaargh in Pigeon Forge & missed it b/c in diff time zone! 🤦🏼‍♀️… watching now but darn, hated to miss!!! Btw I’ve been sewing 60+ years but quilting only about 10 years so I took this Beginner’s class & it was really good!! I highly recommend it! If only to hone your skills😊. I loved the yoga, and all the history of quilting. Mary is phenomenal ❤

As usual, great info! I love that you showed us the different rulers in detail. By the way, I just made a bunch of pinwheels using the pressing marker with solution (which I got at the KC retreat). Great tool! I may invest in the Essential Triangle Tool. Gee, just when I thought I had all the rulers I needed...
