This is my eight year of teaching music but I still found this video so consoling and gave me encouragement. Yes, being an elementary music teacher (and now we've incorporated 6th-8th grade!) can be a lonely journey. But once rules and procedures in on place, as you so eloquently stated, it can be tons of fun. Thank you for posting!

Girl...it is so validating to finally hear someone else talk about the struggle that is making a circle!!!!! One question, when you are working with a class that is smaller than the amount of strips in your circle, do you find it difficult to get kids to fill in the gaps and think that they absolutely HAVE to be on a piece of velcro?

It might not be as pretty, but I recommend *not* using the snazzy fonts. It makes things hard to read for some of our students!
