If I may make a suggestion : doing ASL Starter Kit video would be awesome. Your vids are amongst the very best tutorial on the web. I think an ASL Starter Kit video tutorial would be a huge hit and super helpful for beginners who may feel overwhelmed at first. Anyway, thank from Paris for you superb work and great contribution to the community.

The production value of this rules review was off the charts, thank you for this effort. I'm finally going to be able to play this game and I just ordered the deluxe edition to do that.

These videos were so INCREDIBLY helpful and well done! I have stacks of unplayed war games because I get lost in the rules. Thanks !

I like your videos, thank you. Just got this game and started soloing it. A confusing point at 17:25, the marker should be VPs and not Combined War Status. The war status markers never move down the track.

Thank you Ben, you have got this game back off the shelf. My personal request would be Unconditional Surrender 😉

In addition to playing the OberOst event, German units can also attack Russian forts after reaching War Status 4. Note: War Status is different than War Commitment Level. War Status 4 can be achieved during a turn. "15.1.11 Russian Forts: German units may not attack spaces containing Russian forts until the OberOst Event Card is played or the Central Powers War Status is 4 or higher. German units may, however, besiege unoccupied Russian forts."

I'd say I'm an relatively experienced wargamer. Playing WiF and OCS. ... but the amount of exceptions to rules in this game came as a surprise to me... it's bordering the absurd.

Another great video thanks Ben, you made this seem much less intimidating. I'm trying to decide if I should p500 Pursuit of Glory as well, do you have any comment on how much harder it is to play?

At 3:43 Austria is mentioned. It should be Australia. AUS = Australia.

Al Mol Just start playing it: the first couple of turns might take some time, but then if “flows” quite well. Just watch your supply lines! :-)

Help! Do units have to retreat out of forts or can they take a step lose instead or is it determined by the terrain of the space of which the fort is located in?
@harsh-rules3 жыл бұрын
I think its the terrain. I see this in the rules. "Defending units in Trenches, Forests, Deserts, Mountains, or Swamps may chose to ignore a retreat by taking one additional step loss." Pg. 16

You know, Labyrinth: The War on Terror by GMT, would be one that desperately needs a good tutorial video. There aren't a lot of good videos on that game; the ones they got are hard to understand, and more importantly look at.
