Hi, once you get the visa, you can see the visa start date. Generally your visa is valid from the date you get it approved. But it's always good to check the dates on your visa.

@@ChhikaraEmpire NZ immigration is advising these days to apply 3 months before your travel date. Keep your fingers crossed. Christmas holidays are coming and this is the busiest time of the year.

As NZ immigration said, apply 3 months before your travel date. Secondly if you apply early then the visa will be applied less.

Yes i will go to Gerry visa office they said its good you have arrangement for 3years but if u have enough funds for about 1.5years it can be work but still i am in doubt i am trying some one else also to get proper information.
