“Make sure you go thoroughly though the rules before participating” in Olympic pole vaulting. Just in case you get into the Olympic team and you don’t quite know the rules yet ???

I don't know if the rules specified are correct -- even for Olympic Pole Vault. Good thing to note, though, that different levels, High School, College (NCAA), etc. have slightly different rules regarding many aspects of this event.

I saw videos of athletes got their poles broken, you did not address this. So it's a faulty count and the athlete tries again?

If athlete breake the pole, this is not considered a failed attempt and he can try again.

The tie breaker rule is not true. Men in the Tokyo Olympics and women in this years world championships chose to share the Gold Medal instead of having a jump off

true but the concept is pretty much get over the cross bar and dont make it fall
