Great lesson Oleg. Just what I needed . Gee! I didn't know about not opening the hip for fan. Need more lessons like these for Cha Cha and samba. I am practicing for our Comp in 2020.

Dear Kimberly, the step to fan position is a backward walk. (Which never opens.) I would like to inspire you to read the book of Walter Laird, Technique of Latin Dancing. Inside you will find all basic figures described, including which kind of walk has to be applied when. It's the best knowlwdge I ever found, extremely useful, because it also shows you, how to develop figures from beginners to professional. You will be happy to know these things. :-)

Can you break down locks in cha cha please. Forward and backward
@chachasambarumbapasojive6 жыл бұрын
Dear Oleg, you should start to explain shoulder movements. If this video is for Beginners it's fine explained because they would mix everything up. But for professionals you should start to explain the next step. Shoulders move, a lot. Guess you know it but didn't explain for good reasons. Start to show the next step, too. :-)
