I keep thinking that I uploaded this video years ago, but apparently I never did. A long long time ago the band I was in "The Curb Feelers" which was made up of employees at KOZY-AM Radio in Grand Rapids, MN, played at the Surf Ballroom in CLeaar Lake, Iowa, in the lounge during one of the Buddy Holly Tribute weekends (I can't remember what year - maybe 1995). Anyway, I played keyboard and never really claimed to be a guitar player. But I had been practicing Link Wray's "Rumble" and decided that when we came back after a break I'd open the set playing Rumble. Now, I had never played this in public before, and was playing Dave "Fretman" Michaels guitar, which I had never even touched before, and playing into his amp, which I had also never touched. If you're a marginal guitar player you know that picking up an unfamiliar instrument can really mess with you. Undaunted, I performed "Rumble". I do not in anyway consider this to be "good" but it proves I DID IT! I'm not sure that we even ever rehearsed this as a group before.
