Here's several tips for writing a great speech: Allow plenty time. Start writing. Put down anything - that's better than empty paper! get assistance from family. You do not need to do it by alone Use ready made speech templates. Try it out in front of a few friends and ask for their opinions. (I learned about these and more on Marlie speaker blueprint site )
