Hello, I’ve red your coments about Persian and Arabic cultures. I’m morrocan, i grew there. I live in Paris. My heart beats on flamenco, persian, arabic, andalusian, indian music... All i see and hear here is beauty. Among History, politics. Something humanly divine arises. Beautiful and spiritual.The essential ?

Part of OUR stolen Culture, OUR Sufi Dance stemming from OUR PERSIAN CULTURE. We lost all these at the expense of "their" invasion, at the expense of extreme incongruous cultures of our illiterate neighbors! I appreciate your endeavor Mr. Moshkin Ghalam and your fantastic Orchester and all Musicians who contributed to preserve and promote this artistic feature of humanity ...

As a Lebanese I too don't consider myself Arab, like the Iraqis, Egyptians our culture became arabized because of the Bedouin Arabs . I'm so happy the authentic Persian Identity is being revived by great people like Mr. Moshkin Ghalam. Love Persian Culture and Persian people.

Great Sam, we all need more awareness. The middle East is a real mosaic of ancient civilizations and cultures and religions. We should not let some ignorant people, call the whole region Arab or Muslim. We have to bring about a lot of culture, which is hidden of fear for persecution.

AT THE TIME, EMPIRE OF PERSIAN, THERE WASN'T ANY SUCH arabic song! This is SUFI MUSIC, kinda of the PERSIAN CULTURE, a means of connecting to metaphysic, to love and FREEDOM, stemming from one of the oldest cultures of the whole WORLD, PERSIAN!
@maa14418 жыл бұрын
The first part of the melody played is of an Arabic song. However, the Sufi culture is not stolen from ancient Persian culture, it's an Islamic based lifestyle developed and adopted by many Persians. It's a Persio-Islamic culture, no doubt in that. However, during the Safavid (Turkic tribe) invasion of Persia, many Persian scholars ran away to Ottoman Turkey and Levant (Damascus), to seek refugee after refusing to give up their Sunni faith and succumb to Shiasm that the Safavids enforced on the Persian nation who were by vast majority Sunnis. So, the Sufi culture and art was transferred to Turkey and Levant, that is why you find Rumi's tomb in Konya (Turkey), as well as Shamsuddin Tabrizi, and many other Persian Sufi scholars buried in northern Iraq and Syria. Man asalatam Pars hastam, vali khanevadeye man az ostane Fars raft, 150 saale pish. Ma hanooz Sunni hastim, ham zaboone Parsi harf mizanim. Kheyli eftekhar konim ke ma az farzandane Pars hastim. Bavaram kon, I know what I am talking about. Unfortunately, many Iranians today don't really read history books, they just rely on random online articles and youtube non-sense. By the way, Persians who left Persia and moved to Levant also introduced the famous Persian drink of Medival time, which is known as the Jellab and Qamaruddin (dry peach juice), today these drinks are hardly known among Persians, but it is very popular in Damascus. Dorood bar shoma.

+maa1441 It's another deviation of facts by islamists. the greatest art introduced by islam to the whole word is ISIS!,or other extremist terrorists. at the time savages didn't have anything to contribute the WEALTHY cultural Persian community except barbarism. daste bar ghaza, bande joze un daste az hamvatanan nistam ke az ru site haye ghaire motabar matlab jamavari konam. However, you might have known the truth and deliberately would like to deviate it or you are using invalid references even though some parts of your comment were true to some extents! Anyways, enjoy the art and for expanding our knowledge as well as making sure true history is kept protected, we may make a visit at the US national Library! Its funny how Iranian talk of culture yet they cannot recall much except islamic sufi culture! You are blinded by your hatred of others and nationalism. Islam is inclusive; when they ruled properly, everyone progressed and revived including all nations and non muslims.

Iranian culture goes back to 7500 years ago. Cyrus the Great brought to the world the human right 2500 years ago when he freed jews from Baboulyin when the world was ruled by some crule ruler. How much do you know about culture? Least can you define it? Have you seen the Madaine palace, the biggest brick arch ever build in the world in today Iraq? Listen we ruled the biggest improrer the world ever seen for some 400 years. Do you know what dose mean? It means order, decipline, archtecture, carpet, wine, having women rule the army, surgen, lawyer, singer, artist having the garden and living in the Paradise that were promised to you and being humanly for eveybody. On that time your parents in Arebia were chasing the camel the female were buried alive. Do not forget this: if Persian and Turks were not become moslems. there was no islam nowdays. Look at to your freakin arabic goverment what they are doing nowadays: corrupt,lazy, messing with the women,.... same some 1500 years ago.what did you contribute to the world cultuly? Nothing!!!! You go educate yourself about The GREAT PERSIA!!! I feel sorry for you.

His moves are mostly borrowed from Spanish flamenco dance (especially the beginning of the video). It's not Persian at all. I'm Iranian and studied flamenco in Spain for several years. He's doing very basic flamenco dance moves without the "taconeo" (footwork) and then just adding some classic whirling dervish moves. Sincerely, it's a simple fusion of basic flamenco and dervish moves.

@@marinahassanali4559 Where do you think flamenco dance arm movements come from? Where do you think the Irish river dancing come from? Where do you think Moslem robes on their shoulders come from? why do you think Greeks keep their arms at the should level when dancing, just like Iranians? They are all remnants of reverence rituals to the Faravahar's wings, a tradition going back to Sumer.

No need to go to the Hejaz, just go to Morroco. Arab culture and history is "multiple" as the empire was across 3 continents and in each place, it mixed itself with local culture. I'm not going to discuss a lot. Make some researches on Andalusia before the Arab decline. And just enjoy because at the end this belongs to all Human kind. Warm cheers
