Rummy👍awesome video my friend, taking absolutely nothing away from SRR but I'm so glad you spent some time highlighting the great Joe Louis, he has achieved so much and not been credited by all during and after his very long reign, unfairly having a proportion of his Stella career labelled 'bum of the month' which was totally unjustified. Really enjoyable mate, cheers✌️🍻

We're talking about the 40s here : Sugar Ray's numbers were indeed incredible - but Ezzard Charles', who was a great middleweight as well, was arguably better - he was 3 - 0 against Joey Maxim (Maxim beat Sugar Ray in their famous fight) 2 - 0 against Charles Burley, 3 - 0 (!) against The Mongoose, Archie Moore, & Ezzard even had time to defeat Joe Walcott for the heavyweight strap - all of this in the 40s! - not bad for a guy who was held back as a middleweight. The only thing preventing Ezzard from usurping Robinson was the fact that Charles had 5 losses to Robinson's 1 - but Ezzard fought them all - I'm not sure that we can say the same about Robinson - I don't see the Murders' Row on Robinson's record like I do on Ezzard's - & the fact that Robinson didn't fight Charles Burley stands out like a beacon (remember, Ezzard fought & beat Charles Burley twice) ....
@t-34-36

I think he's 5-0 against Maxim, which is fuckin crazy. Plus, his wins over Elmer Ray (many People say his loss to him was a robbery), Yarosz (one tough soab), Satterfield (lethal puncher, in the top 100 greatest punchers), Lesnevich and Jimmy Bivins solidify him even more.

How come when people talk about Ray Robinson know one ever brings up that he should have been the light weight champion as well Ray defeated Sammy Angott in a non title fight in his 21st fight but never got shot at the light weight title Sammy came in over weight so his title would not be on the line Not the first or the last time he did that Cheers Steve 🇦🇺🥊
