If my fiance went to go see if the man who slept with her mother and grandmother was her father and then slept with him when she found out he wasn't and disappeared on a jet setting adventure with him and I, worried sick about her having disappeared for a day found her making out with him, I wouldn't take her back and I certainly wouldn't do it about 24 hours after finding this all out. This movies wants to act like it's a happy ending but its beyond messed up. the only thing that could make this worse is if their daughter ends up sleeping with Beau. Jeff deserves better.

Just finished watching this film and honestly it's the most fucked up, annoying, cheating apologetic bulshit I've ever seen. I was so pissed watching it, this would be a great story as a drama where it highlights cheating is messed up and how there are consequences to it. But in this movie, she was engaged to a great guy and he didn't even do anything wrong! Plus sleeping with a guy who's slept with her grandmother and her mom is a seriously sick thing man!! When she woke up in the bed with the old guy(forgot his name), she doesn't look like she regrets what happened, instead she ignores her fiancee's call! And later when he comes looking for her finding out she's been sleeping with this old man, I mean come on, no guy would have standed that sick thing. This movie made a joke of the word 'love'. Jennifer Aniston isn't in love with mark from the start but after cheating on him she realised she loved him?! I mean where is the damn Self-respect? End of the movie made me sick! I mean he just forgives her like that?! Give me one fucking reason why he forgave her?? Only because she admitted she loved him and was ready to marry him? If Americans find this types of movies as Rom-Coms then I doubt their sense of humour 🙏 Cheating when being engaged is not funny, at least not for me! I'm 18 y.o. and never been in anything like a relationship! I've met some girls who liked me and i liked them but never really been in a relationship because i thought It's not my thing! But I hate the concept of cheating, I pity the cheaters for being cheaters, I myself would never sacrifice my loved one's trsur and my own self esteem for some s*x! No matter how drunk i am! My guess is they weren't offered much better at the time, and, possibly gambled on the movie becoming a holiday hit (it was released in theaters on Christmas Day of 2005). Also, this was a transition period where many of the stars from the late 70s, the 80s, and, the 90s were sort of settling with what they could get (oftentimes, romcoms), unless your name was Julia Roberts (Erin Brockovich pushed her away from romcoms) or Tom Hanks (Cast Away seemed to do the same for him)

I just read an article on yahoo news where a 27 year old woman proposed to her 70 +year old boyfriend. I am sorry. I just think gold digger when stuff like that happens. And my favorite show just had an episode where a young man 35 years younger than his girlfriend proposed to his girlfriend. I am sorry but I just don’t feel comfortable with it. I wouldn’t stop anyone from marrying someone but I myself don’t want a guy more than 14 years older than me. That’s the max.
