Can’t beat a bit of dirty old rump! I take it over the more expensive cuts. More flavor, forgiving if the beer meter is off. Love cutting my own full rump into the bits I love! Picanha is the first bit to come off and be bagged

I love pichana, nowadays Woollies sells them as steaks. They'll certainly stand up to very aggressive seasoning. Goes great with a decent bottle of malbec.

Fantastic picanha Schuey! Love your videos! Please keep them coming! Btw, just wondering, was the meat a little over done? Like medium well? Could be just the lighting, but wondering how much the sear made the internal temp climb. Thanks!

Thanks @dovlavi803 yeah the lighting can sometimes cast a bad colour. Hence why I held the middle cut upto the camera to show it is pink and very juicy. The sear will raise the outer edge temps by anywhere between 3c to 10c, depending on how long you cook it.

@Schueys BBQ. There are a number of ways to do Picanha. This is one. Maybe do a few more. Cutting it into steaks, and putting them onto skewers is probably the most popular way. You should show the fans that technique as well.
