I really appreciate your video! I was all set to buy the rumpl the other evening but their site went down. When I went on their chat the next day they suddenly changed the price, never sent the 10% off coupon they promised, nor would honor the 6 pack beer blanket I was told I would get for signing up. Customer service said they would sell me the $99 blanket @ the new price of $129 & give me the 6 pack beer blanket. They also said they couldn't give me the 10% off my first order. I am big on customer service, theirs was not very good (I will not be purchasing anything from Rumpl because of this.) So I am glad I saw your review & am going to purchase a Get Our Gear. Looking forward to watching your other videos!

You’re welcome. Check ‘em out. I hadn’t either until I found their blankets. After some time now I am still very impressed with their products. Their new backpacking chair is pretty rad too!

How do you store your blankets?
@JohnLaGuardia2 жыл бұрын
If long term, we hang them up just like sleeping bags so they don’t lose their loft. Short term on trips we always use the included stuff sacks. Steer away from storing them in compression sacs and only use those on short hiking/backpacking trips.

For each of them, if you use at a campfire will it smell like smoke afterwards?
@JohnLaGuardia2 жыл бұрын
For sure. I don’t know of any clothing or blanket material that won’t smell like smoke after being close to a wood burning campfire. With fire danger on the rise, we have stopped creating wood burning campfires. There are great propane based options out on the market which will also eliminate the concern of campfire odors in clothes and blankets.
