How you were talking about you felt like Crown was a Killer Mike song. If you continue listening and looking at their music under Run the Jewels. You'll realize that in the album they tend to have one of them be the lead and crush it while the other is in the back hyping the other with support. Sometimes they both just say fuck it and kill together (which no matter what they kill it when their part is up). Yeah I'm glad more and more people are jumping on RTJ, much love to them.

Killer Mike's "Reagan" if you havent heard it. El-P produced it before they joined up to form RTJ. It is one of my favorite songs by those two though it isnt a duo. definitely real music

To me, El-P sounds a lot like Redman. El is slightly more laid back, and has a smidge less bravado, but has a very similar baritone voice and delivery.

Yeah with Run the Jewels the singles are never the best tracks, they're still great but it's always the more political deep cuts (thieves, 2100, kill your masters) You gotta do Rtj4, El P's lyrics, rhyme schemes, and flows are top tier.

That album feels like it transports me to a shitty New York studio apartment, watching these guys smoke weed and cut samples for new beats. The reason I love that album is because it's so raw that you feel like you can really, REALLY understand the artists intent and emotional state.
